Small room, poor noise isolation, decent location

The room was smaller than expected for a mercure hotel, with poor noise isolation. The manager managed to move us to another room, high level good views which was appreciated. However the bedding was very short in length and there was lack of windows, fresh air and the room was hard to navigate due to its size. It is comparable to a tokyo hotel. I wish i knew this earlier and would have happily paid extra but I have been around the world with mercure and have never been dissatisfied with the size so I didnt check beforehand.

Well located but room was very small, especially the bathroom. Our bathroom in our cabin on the cruise was bigger. Limited wine list and did not have the wine we wanted on the list per glass in either cafe or restsurant. Staff were very friendly and atmosphere was great. Beautiful foyer especially the digital art. Breakfast was very good.

We had an okay stay given there’s bed, bathroom and all. But it seems like this is an extremely capitalistic hotel. For profit only with less hospitality. The room is so tiny it’s basically an ibis with better hardware. Bathroom is extremely tiny and I had stayed at a very budget small hotel in europe. Lobby is always packed. Breakfast was extremely packed we only ate there once. Hotel price is singapore is very pricey.

Staff allowed for our privacy requests. Rooms fairly small/cramped but I know that is just the case for Singapore
