One of the main criticisms for this hotel is that the rooms are small. The criticisms are correct but not to the point in which the room size becomes an obstacle for enjoyment. The room is more than adequate for a solo traveler and maybe a couple traveling with only carry-on luggage. The moment you bring a large bag inside the room it will become too full, especially because there are no drawers and really no space to put a large bag. There is no closet but instead there are hangers to, well, hang some pieces of clothing. Everything else stayed in the carry-on bag for the duration of my three-night stay. The bathroom is tiny to the point of requiring some contortionism to grab the toilette paper and the sink outside the bathroom did not have much space for toiletries. Still the room is well designed, comfortable, and clean, with a large TV with many channels. The hotel is very, very well-located, near an MRT station and several hawker centers. I would come back here again, as long as I am traveling solo.

This hotel is very new and very close to Downtown. It is in walking distance. I recommend you to choose breakfast included option. As we found out most restaurants nearby won’t open until noon.

When we arrived, they only had our booking for one night, despite booking two. We were told we had only booked one night and it was only after invoice proof they accepted we had booked two. There was no apology or explanation of how the booking had been wrong on their system. The rooms are very basic for a 4 star hotel. Not even enough room to open 2 suitcases. No ear buds, cotton pads etc were provided. Only soap and shampoo. The filtered water is warm. The customer service at front desk is not welcoming or informative. The laundrette only takes cash, yet online this hotel is described as cashless. There should be a way to access the laundrette with card, especially as people often use Singapore as a destination of layover so don’t have cash on them. The “gym” is tiny with the bare minimum equipment. It is definitely geared toward more cardio based exercises as opposed to strength training. Location is fabulous.

Staff went above and beyond to make my stay fantastic! From checking in to a room with balloons and a personalised birthday message, to helping with directions and every other question- the staff were incredible. The room had a fantastic view, well kept and location was great for my stay. I look forward to coming back on my next visit
