Very small room not suitable for business travelers. The ironing set up was odd and the AC in the gym being out of order rendered the gym unusable.

Pleasant experience with an excellent location and good views of the city. Room service/housekeeping was great. However the rooms were small and there were no cupboards for hanging clothes.

Room wasn’t particularly clean, especially the bathroom didn’t look like the floor had been mopped. Shower was very small. Problems with my door lock which prevented me from entering and then the inconvenience of having to go up and down and waiting for the lock to be opened and batteries changed. Despite this it still didn’t work the next morning. Breakfast options were limited as there were no yoghurts, oats or muesli available for a healthier option

I stayed twice at the Mercure ICON en route visiting family in the UK. I caught the MRT from the airport and it was easy to navigate and find the entrance to the hotel via underground signage. A few minutes walk to Chinatown and Maxwell food centre, super comfy beds. Although the room is on the smaller side it's perfect for a solo traveller, clean tidy and central to everything. Staff were always friendly and helpful, would definitely stay here again, thank you team :)
