We travelled as a family of 4 and booked two rooms. We travelled by train from the airport and the hotel was very conveniently located for the main train station and old town. Staff were always available to help and very friendly and welcoming. One morning we had an early visit to Auschwitz and we were provided with excellent breakfast bags, including a dairy free option, as we had to leave before service began. Rooms were modern and comfortable with nice touches such as a coffee machine, small fridge and lovely toiletries. Very easy to get around on foot and area felt safe.

Hotel is modern, clean and rooms are spacious and very soundproof. However, Check in experience was super bad. The lady told us 4(!) times that we should book breakfast with her. But we did not want to. She kept repeating this several times. Also referring us to their own restaurant and bar like 2-3 times nonstop. When it comes to her actual job, checking us in correctly. Everything went wrong. We had booked 2 doubles and 1 twin. She told us 3 twins. Asking she confirmed all rooms are twins (no prob at all for us). Going upstairs turns out that 2 are actually doubles and 1 twin (as booked). However the twin guys got the double. So went back downstairs to change rooms as our friends already started to unpack and use the room. The lady was just pissed. Told us we booked wrong. Only once we showed the reservation she said there is nothing she can do. It was not her fault and stuff. In the end we had to change into the already 30‘ used room. Really inconvenient. Their staff should rather focus on providing the correct service and experience, rather than trying to extremely push to cross sell and upsell. So overall very scammy hotel.
