The hotel itself was great, nice location and good facilities. We checked in after a late flight to find a handwritten card and some beers to mark my husband’s birthday which was a really lovely gesture.. that doesn’t happen often these days. The room was a good size and beds were comfy. The pool was nice and the lobby and bar were clean and staff were friendly. The only things to mention were only two towels supplied when 3 of us in the room, this happened every day of our 4 night stay. The coffee and milk weren’t replenished which was annoying so we didn’t get a drink in the morning, the conditioner bottle was empty in the bathroom but was also never replenished.. but I had my own luckily. And lastly the safe is not very safe, it’s not fitted so can be picked up and taken.. doesn’t make sense and is pointless. All in all a great stay, thank you

I spent a night at this hotel. I chose it, firstly because I’m an Accor member, and secondly because Novotel is usually of a higher standard than Mercures, based on the reviews and the location. I was offered an upgrade because of my Diamond status. I wish that had never happened. A nice room, unnecessarily large for my needs, but above all so noisy that I couldn’t sleep; which is the most important part for me, as I am mostly travelling for business. I asked for another room, but was offered the same thing with exactly the same problem. Where was the noise coming from? The room overlooks a very busy road, and there’s a constant stream of aircraft overhead. There’s no point spending money on frills when the one thing I look for most in a hotel is missing: a peaceful night’s sleep.You should prioritise spending money on soundproofing. The staff were completely unprepared to handle a guest’s request who simply wanted the room he had booked. Definitely a hotel to be avoided.

One night stay with family as group of 3. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Great breakfast selection. Access to pool and gym was a great bonus. Hotel is well located: 10min from Wawel Castle and 17min walk from Krakow Main square.

We stayed one night at the Novotel Krakow Centrum. The hotel was well maintained and the staff was polite and efficient. The view of the castle was gorgeous and the location worked very well for our family.
