We reported that AC is not working (not cooling properly) after the first night and no actions were taken. We had to sleep the rest of the nights with the windows open but ended up full mosquito bites. We also reported again after the second night but no actions were taken again. This is a very unprofessional approach and would like to have a compensation for this inconvenience caused

Our family trip to Krakow was 2 days out of our 6 day vacations which would be the only days we would be out of Warsaw for this summer. Unfortunately we were very disappointed by our experience in the hotel. We arrived and the people in reception were stressed and almost seemed as if they didn't want any guests back in the hotel. The lady wanted me to pay parking when I had already included parking in my reservation and it took a while for her to confirm this. We arrived in the room and the coffee machine wasn't working, I tried calling reception but the phone in the room didn't work as well (although it was supposed to be an "executive room") so we decided to report this when we went down to explore the city. We reported it and kindly asked for it to be checked or changed. When we came back, they had replaced the coffee machine but without the back part which is the tank for the water. So we couldn't use it again. On our second day, we went out to explore the city and came back very tired to find that our room hadn't been cleaned. During the check in, in no moment did I or my husband (who is Polish) got any information saying that we needed to inform daily if we wanted our rooms to be cleaned. Also, there wasn't any written information on the room about this. With Coronavirus, I understand that some guests might be against strangers entering their room, but in our case we believe the cleaner it is, the lower the chance of potential infection. When I went down to report this, they told me it was my duty to request this. How can I know this if nobody clearly tells you when you check in? Some minutes later, a cleaning lady came to our room and left towels and took away the trash in the trash bins. Additionally, there was never enough parking spots, so we would come back with the car, grab a ticket at the entrance and had to get out of the car to go and ask for a card in reception so we could actually go out without paying. The system doesn't make sense. A more user friendly option would be to give the guests who pay parking a card that can be used during their whole stay and then you don't have to ask for a card every time you need to go out of the parking. Overall we think the hotel building is well located but the room felt far from what I would consider an "executive room" and as much as I like to have empathy and understand when people are having a hard time at work, the service and the way people treat the customers is just unacceptable. You should make sure to hire people who want to work in the tourism industry, can smile and have the personality that make people feel welcomed and provide clear instructions upon arrival. The only person who was extremely nice, smiled and was looking to help find seating options during the hectic breakfast was an employee that also works in the bar. I, sorry not to remember his name but he was very good with the clients.

Great hotel but breakfast during corona times should be better organised

The hotel has a nice location close to the castle and the river. The old town is also reached within a few minutes. I’m Gold ALL member and I was lucky to get an upgrade to a privileged room with a great view over the river, you could even see the castle. For this I ‘m grateful of course. I’m a loyal customer with Accor because you know you can expect certain standards. I was a little disappointed that my room didn’t look like on the website. Usually when there are renovated and non-renovated rooms, this is written on the website. There was nothing wrong with my room, it was a great room, but for example I missed the rain shower that is advertised on the website. I was not very happy with the way the breakfast was organized during these corona times. It felt more like a canteen in a factory then breakfast in Novotel. The excuse that it is difficult during this pandemic doesn’t fly with me. This is my 7th hotel during this summer. I suggest that the restaurant manager goes to take a look in Mercure Wroclaw Centrum or Mercure Bydgoszcz Sepia where the breakfast is more corona proof and still feels how it should feel.

The hotel is very well located near the castle in Kraków. The hotel has nice installations and they are taking good measures due to COVID-19. Just remember they are not doing the cleaning daily unless you specify this is what you want.

Huge apartment. Comfy bed, the biggest balcony I ever seen. The best part is all the staffs from front desk, house keeping, restaurant are very help and cheerful. Especially helpful to allow us to use the house phone to call to the airline to change our air ticket. Apartment is well equipment with kitchenette and dish washer. However, carpet need to be cleaned We enjoy stay and hopefully will be coming back very soon.

It's almost impossible to touch furniture without having some part falling down. The cabinet handle remained in my hand a couple of time and during the first shower one piece fell to the ground. All good for a cheap hotel, but not whe you pay more then the double compare to hotels outside Krakow. I was there for bussiness but I got the feeling that all the city is a trap for turists.

I booked three rooms with double bed and sofabed. It shoult hava bathrobes in the room. First morning tried to ask. Front desk promised to fix. They didnt. Next morning i asked again and then the robes were delivered to rooms. They also delivered babybed because the baby didnt havé place to sleep (i planned to put her to the sofabed). Did we have right rooms? Didnt never found out. It was my mother in laws 60 th birthday trip and i hade to ask many times the same thing.

We had great help from the receptionist Michael on the 8th of March from 20:30-23:45 in getting new flight tickets since our flight to Israel was canceled at the last minute.Without Michael help we couldn't of managed. It turned out that he stayed way over his shift hours in order to make sure we had copies of the tickets. We enjoyed our room, the buffet breakfast, and hot meals in restaurant. Thanks to you all.

Always a lovely stay, very comfortable nice clean room, clean community areas very welcoming staff. Spa was nice only a few issues- a lot of families use the spa pool and it was often filled with children making lots of noise and splashing about so was hard to relax, even when we decided it would be better to go later there were still loads of children shouting. The robes for the spa were not always available and were also VERY small. The lift to the spa shouldn’t stop at reception as we were just in our swimwear and robes (which were too small) and people got in with us as we were going down to the spa with their bags and coats and it was awkward, I felt a little intruded upon. In our room it would have been nicer to have a couple of extra bath towels but that’s just a personal preference of mine.
