We arrived as a family of 4 for a city break and immediately upon setting foot in the hotel were sure we had made the right choice in booking the Novotel. The staff were superbly attentive, the rooms wonderful, every ask was met with a smile and nothing was too much. We made use of the bar, the restaurant for an evening meal, the gym, the spa, the pool, the breakfast selection was wonderful and always hugely attentive and helpful staff! The cocktails in the bar were also delicious! Agnieszka in the restaurant at breakfast one morning during our stay was especially helpful and put our 2 young children at ease, who can be a bit apprehensive in new situations. I would highly recommend the hotel. The room was amazing, the shower powerful, spacious rooms, the bath relaxing, the views magical over the Wistla river, we could even see the dragon breathing fire from our room! The location is also perfect. If you are deliberating, just book!

I loved the hotel, the location was perfect for what my trip purpose was. The center could be reached easily from there, as well as the castle. However, I was left to get myself ready dressed for the pool to then be left at the dresser room, lights switched off, without being notified the pool closed at 10 pm. The girl just walked away closed the doors and left, while she clearly saw me standing there ready to go to the pool. Very rude. And then came the restaurant and bar experience. We were left to see the menu, I just wanted drinks and headed for the bar. My friend wanted fries and drinks. He let her stand there order to then tell her go to the bar to order these. And he was not happy with us paying separately. Lastly, why do these people all talk to you in polish, when they clearly know and notice you are not local. Anywhere they would talk to us in polish, despite us being the first to speak and in english. I don’t get it why. Breakfast was fine. I liked it. A nice variety of foods. Room was clean and spacious enough.

Absolutely loved coming here pool was lovely, gym was good. Good location great view of the river and side view of castle. We will be coming back. Miss krakow already. The only thing I couldn’t use is the espresso machine I should have asked.

Everything was nice, specially the staff were extremely helpfull and nice but we spent 2 days without AC and one day the room was not looked after so that did not made the stay perfect, otherwise it was pretty good.

We loved the swimming pool and kids playground. Room confortable but matrass very soft for us, and there was something in tne air or dust from the carpet that made us sneeze sometimes. Anyway it was a good quality price ratio and we would go back

Very helpful staff, nice location, breakfast was ok. The cleanliness of the room should be improved: a lot of dust, the sofa has never been cleaned from dust.

Great family stay with a beautiful view of the Vistula We stayed at Novotel Kraków Centrum as a family of four, two adults and two children, and overall had a very good experience. Our room was large, comfortable and nicely designed. The children slept on the sofa converted into a bed, and there was still plenty of space for all of us. We were on the third floor and had a beautiful view over the Vistula River and Wawel Castle, which was definitely one of the highlights of the room. A very nice touch on our first day was that although official check-in was only at 4:00 PM, we received one of our rooms already at 2:55 PM. Until the room was ready, the hotel allowed us to use the swimming pool facilities, which was fantastic and made the wait very easy and enjoyable, especially with the children. The location was excellent for us. The hotel is close to everything, and most places in the Old Town were within about a 15–20 minute walk. We also really enjoyed being right by the river, which made walking around Kraków very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent, with a very large and varied selection. We were travelling with children who can be quite picky, and everyone was able to find something they liked, which is always a big plus for a family. The indoor swimming pool is a good size and there is also a jacuzzi, gym and spa area. After long days of sightseeing, having the pool in the hotel was especially nice for the kids. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, with a walk-in shower rather than a bathtub. One small thing I liked less was that the soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided in dispensers rather than separate bottles, but that is really a matter of personal preference. Another useful feature is the water dispenser on each floor, where you can refill your bottles. There is also a fridge in the room. The hotel has underground parking shared by the Novotel and Ibis hotels. Parking costs 100 PLN per night, which is worth keeping in mind if you arrive by car. The only real negative during our stay was that our room was not cleaned on the third day. As we were out of the hotel for most of the day, it did not affect us too much, but it was still a little surprising for a 4-star hotel. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and found the hotel especially convenient for a family visiting Kraków. Spacious room, fantastic view, very good breakfast, a pool for the kids and a location that made it easy to explore the city on foot. the hotel is located next to the river. we were offered a room with no view at all. the receptionists were lacking any interest to explain the town or the hotel amenities. we were traveling with 2 small kids and were not offered a teddy bear as the reviews said. In Warsaw we stayed in a Mercure hotel and they were excellent with the kids and they did offer them teddies and were very enthusiastic explaining restaurants and things to do the breakfast was ok but far too crowded. there was no bacon offered any of the days we had breakfast there we tried to use the pool once. there was poo floating inside the pool as we entered! i showed it to the lifeguard that spoke no English at all. he didn’t seem to realize what was happening. after i insisted, he called maintenance and the pool was closed. regardless to say we didn’t use the pool again. i would chose a different hotel next time

The staff were nice but their English wasn’t good enough The room barely had place for 4 people even though it was known as advance (two parents, one kid and one baby) I tried to upgrade with money and couldn’t The room itself felt very old and not maintained The bed sheets didn’t cover the entire mattress The shower had the drain socket cover not connected Food was quite good, including the evening restaurant The staff did nice things that showed care - cups for kids in the room, baby bath.
