This hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk from the main square so is well located away from any busy activity. Hotel was undergoing some refurbishment so checked in through the adjoining Novotel. Earplugs were provided in the room in case of any loud building work but these weren't necessary. Room was small but perfectly adequate for our trip. It was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also clean, shampoo and shower gel was provided. Didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment on quality of that.

Great stay. Staff very friendly. Wasn’t told that hotel was undergoing refurbishment to the kitchen, on booking the hotel. Made aware by email, that one could use the Novotel for breakfast. Only disappointment was being told breakfast was until 11 on first checking in. Later on returning to the hotel after exploring the city , I asked at reception what time was breakfast until. Was told again until 11am. On coming down for breakfast at 10.20, I was told, to get things quickly as breakfast finished at 10.30am. If I had come down at 10.35, I would have missed breakfast. The Novotel breakfast staff were very nice about the mix up. So in short, great hotel. Easy to get into the city, trams and buses round the corner. I believe better communication would have made my review a 9 or 10. If I had known when booking that the hotel was having renovations, I would have booked another hotel, maybe the Novotel. I could have missed breakfast with 2 staff members giving me the wrong time.
