We spent 3 nights in the Crown Krakow during a family trip to the city. The hotel is new, the rooms are excellent (we had a suite, which was spacious), design is good. Best feature of the hotel was the team that works there - super friendly and very helpful throughout. We had dinner there one of the evenings, the food is nothing special to be honest, but the live piano player created a very nice atmosphere. It's about a 20 mins walk to the center of town, or you can catch the tram for a quicker commute. During weekdays it is more of a business travelers destination. We did enjoy our stay there and congratulate the team for the atmosphere they have created together.

everything was nice apart from the coffee capsules in the hotel room for the machine (they seemed low quality, the coffee was undrinkable, as opposed to the coffee at breakfast which was very nice). also in my room there seemed to be no blinds for the bathroom window, which was not good for privacy when taking a shower etc.

A beautiful hotel but let down by a few niggles. We had a junior suite as a treat, however first night no heating , so was given a small room to go into incase we were cold. Not ideal to be going between the two and no offer of a discount or any kind of acknowledgement. The bathroom was very sumptuous, however, no blinds at the windows which meant the apartments opposite could see straight in. The shower was also very difficult to get into as the door opened into a corner and was only able to open as far as the sink, had to squeeze through between the sink & the radiator so it was probably a good job the heating wasn’t working as we’d have had some burnt bums!

The Crown Hotel is great for those who want to balance relaxation, luxury and convenience. It is located around 20 minutes walk away from Old Town and near to bus/tram/train connections. The team were very accomodating at meeting my requests and the bar and reception staff were very friendly.
