Great location with tram stop station directly opposite, rooms comfortable although slightly warm as the windows don’t open and the air conditioning seems to default to 21c . Lovely bar and restaurant area.

we had a decent stay. it was an okay experience, given the point of ibis being budget. the price isnt as ideal for it though. The room was clean and the bathroom is great. The thermostat wasnt working well and wouldnt cool up or add airflow, the window couldn't be opened because of a lock. I understand it depends on circumstances, but our request to have two single beds instead wasn't available, so theres a lost for going the extra mile. Furthermore, we already advised we were arriving early, we did around 2 hours early, we asked if an early check-in was possible and it is, but we are to pay 50 euros. I understand it is to earn money to compensate operational costs, but its clear multiple rooms were available, so there is also a chance lost to go the extra mile.

The request to change the room type was unfortunately not possible during your stay, as no twin rooms were available for the entire period. If a specific room type is not offered as an option during the booking process, it means that it is not available for the selected dates. In case of any technical issues, we always encourage our guests to contact the reception during their stay, as our team is available 24/7 and will do their best to resolve any concerns immediately. Regarding the windows, they are kept closed by default for safety reasons, however they can be opened upon request at the reception if needed. Concerning early check-in, please note that it is subject to availability and carries a standard fee of 50 PLN. This is part of the Accor group policy, which also applies to late check-out services, and helps us manage room preparation and operational planning efficiently. Our stay at Ibis Styles Krakow Centrum did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price. To begin with the positives, the reception staff during both check-in and check-out were very friendly, polite, and welcoming. The breakfast attendant was also kind and attentive. Another advantage was the shower—it was spacious, and for the first time in an Ibis hotel, the water didn’t splash out and flood the bathroom floor. The room itself was clean, and it was very convenient to have a tram stop right in front of the hotel. However, there were several downsides. It was quite frustrating that there was no kettle or tea/coffee setup in the room, with the explanation that this is done to “save the planet.” In reality, a kettle is a basic expectation in most hotels, and this felt more like cost-cutting than sustainability. The water machine in the corridor was frequently out of order when I tried to use it, and there were often no clean cups available nearby, so maintenance clearly needs improvement. The air conditioning in the room was very loud, making it difficult to sleep—we had to turn it off at night. We also had connecting rooms: initially, the room next door was empty, but later a group of teenage girls checked in and were extremely noisy, slamming doors throughout the night. This highlighted the poor sound insulation between connecting rooms. In terms of amenities, only one large towel per person was provided, with no smaller towel for hair. The toiletries were all combined into one product (hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo), which is not ideal. There was also no body lotion or separate hair conditioner provided, nor were there reusable slippers in the room. Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection remained mostly the same each day, with only two hot options changing occasionally, and the overall quality was quite low. The coffee was especially poor—I tried making a cappuccino, but it turned out to be mostly milk with just a drop of coffee. The only fruit available was apples. If the hotel chooses to cut costs in ways that affect guests’ comfort and overall experience, this should be clearly stated in the amenities description so that customers know what to expect and do not feel misled. Overall, despite a few positives, the experience did not justify the price, and it did not feel like good value for money.
