I stay at this hotel every time I travel to Krakow. This has been the case for many years (8 years). My last stay was 12 months ago. During this visit, I noticed some changes in the service quality. The people working at the restaurant are friendly, but they used to be friendlier. I found the serving manners less attentive and less skilled. This is, of course, a subjective thing; nonetheless, I noticed it. The room was cleaned, but they forgot to remove and replace the dirty cups and glasses. I do not expect a 5 stars service at this hotel, but something changed.

The overall impression of the stay at Ibis Stare Miasto Krakow is unsatisfactory, as the hotel is in urgent need of renovation. The room we were assigned was very small for three people. The biggest and primary issue with this hotel is its outdated and worn-out room inventory: everything looks old and scuffed, which creates a poor impression. We would like to see a complete renovation of the premises to meet modern standards. While it's not critical, it would also be great to have a mini-fridge in the room, but this is a secondary concern compared to the condition of the rooms.
