We stayed for three days and two nights to relax and escape the Paris heat. Facilities are outstanding with a lovely spa/pool area, including a leafy and quiet outdoor terrace, a decent restaurant and very good breakfast, sitting/bar area with a giant screen to watch World Cup games, and a very comfortable and large bedroom with silent and well set air conditioning. We were delighted. The village is lovely and the castle is worth a visit, with lots of history and beautiful views. Local restaurants are not amazing but you can walk to the bakery and some local stores, and Chartres is just 20 mins away by car, with lots on offer there.
