It has been nearly 10 years since we last stayed at this Novotel, and it will probably be our last. Although the service and the common areas were great - the rooms felt dated. Our door lock / door had seen its best. We could not initially close the door, and with the receptionist guiding us through first of many visits to sort out our door card - we realised that the door can only be locked by banging the door shut and waking up the entire place in doing so.... We pretty much visited the reception for a new card every time we wanted to enter the room, and also had to get help otherwise. The room had no longer a fridge (just removed with now a gaping hole in the cabinet). On the positives, our steak dinner was fabulous and we adored the rosemary and honey mustard. The cheese course felt a bit small for the EUR12 charge ....

I use this hotel regularly and it is consistently good. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The hotel is clean and well equipped. The Executive rooms are furnished to a high standard. Highly recommend for business or pleasure.

The service from the check-in to checkout was excellent. The young man, sorry cannot remember him, at reception for check-in and checkout needs a special mention he was amazing and very helpful. Thomas in the restaurant was excellent and provided a very good service.
