The hotel was comfortable, family room small for a family of four- fine for one night as a stopover. Ping pong tables and a table football were great, also towels for the pool were provided. The downside was the restaurant, the hotel is too far to walk to anywhere to eat so we booked a table at the restaurant for our evening meal. The food was overpriced and not great quality. One meal was cold and we informed the waitress who took it away but didn’t return. Reception did remove this meal from our bill without hesitation when we informed them though. Also the children’s menu burger is exactly the same size as the one on the main menu -burger with a handful of chips- but there is a 10 euro difference in price. Overall the hotel is fine for 1 night but avoid the restaurant, there are loads of restaurants in Chatres so it’s worth the drive to visit one of those instead.

We had a very pleasant stay with our two young children. The hotel is extremely welcoming and particularly well suited to families. The children loved the little gift they received on arrival, as well as the play area with table tennis, Kapla, comic books and even an Xbox. The pool being open until 10 p.m. was another real bonus. Breakfast was excellent, with an impressive variety of fresh, good-quality products and something for everyone. The rooms are a little dated, but they were comfortable and perfectly suitable for a family of four. Overall, we were very happily surprised by our stay and would definitely return.

Stayed for 1 night and arrived at 7:30pm. Booked dinner for 8:30pm and still hadn't had our order taken (even for drinks) at 8:55pm. Left and went elsewhere.

Après une arrivée à 19h30 et une réservation pour le dîner à 20h30, il n’est pas normal que personne ne soit venu prendre votre commande à 20h55, pas même pour les boissons. Nous regrettons vivement que cette situation vous ait contraints à partir dîner ailleurs. Votre remarque a bien été prise en compte avec notre équipe afin que ce type de situation ne se reproduise pas. Nous espérons malgré tout avoir l’occasion de vous accueillir à nouveau dans de meilleures conditions.

Room clean and comfortable perfect for a stop over enroute to Calais. Only criticism was restaurant service in the evening. Told no table available until 8pm. That’s fine however restaurant didn’t seem overly busy. Food expensive for what it was however I guess they can charge more being a hotel. Lots of dirty tables outside attracting flies. Clearly not enough staff on for the capacity of hotel guests. Kids enjoyed the games area and location very good for a visit to Chartres.

The location for an stop over for a night is okay.The family room we stayed in is dated;bedside lamps has switches but no lamps, there was just 2x 500 ml water in the room for 4 people on a very warm day, the room safe didn’t work because it ran out of batteries, the hall leading to our room which was at the end of the building was pitch dark & the stairway stinks.

Room was comfortable, and the evening meal in the restaurant was pleasant- very dog friendly. The only disappointment was breakfast - we arrived about 30 minutes after service started only to find that most things had already run out (not just food but fruit juice, cups, glasses….) Some items were replenished but not all and they kept running out - not ideal for a busy summer weekend on a main travel route.

Located just outside Chartres, nice facilities for kids, comfortable room, the breakfast is really great, unfortunately the dinner experience at the restaurant was not good (extremely slow service, not enough staff, low quality of food, overpriced) seen that there's no other restaurant around other than fast food chains this is a great shame as this really spoiled the overall experience

We chose this hotel mainly because of the location as we drove from Germany to the Bretagne. We were surprised how charming the city is with its old town and stunning cathedral and enjoyed our stay very much.

We stay here often on our way to our house. Booked executive room this time but was disappointed there were no both robes or slippers and a breakfast hanger for the previous occupant was in the side.
