Overall my stay was good. Rooms comfortable, however the bath is very high, it was difficult to get in and out of without the fear of slipping over.

I am deeply unsatisfied. My engagement ring was stolen from my room. I have stayed at the hotel 1-3.09.2025 for business purposes. On 2.09 in the morning, I left my engagement ring in the hotel room. Upon returning from work later that day, I discovered the ring was missing and noticed that the room was cleaned. I immediately reported the matter to hotel receptionist and filed an oral report passed to the hotel management, who, after investigating with the cleaning staff, reported that nothing was found. A formal police report was subsequently filed with the Chartres police station on 2.09.2025. Up until now (2.12.2025) the hotel didn't come back to me with any response.

Please be assured that thorough internal checks were carried out on the same day, including inspections of garbage bags, vacuum cleaners, and linen; however, these did not lead to any conclusive findings. We would also like to point out that the room was equipped with a safe intended for the storage of valuables. Furthermore, as a formal complaint has been filed, we invite you to contact the appropriate authorities and to follow the progress of the police investigation. Our establishment, of course, remains fully available to cooperate with them. We have already complied with all police requests and provided everything at our disposal to assist with their investigation. check in was very smooth, got a nice upgrade, which is always welcome. but aside from that, the supervisor(Spanish accent, name), very warm and friendly, she made sure we were taken care of. I wasn't feeling well and helped us with cutlery to dine in. overall, a good experience and we do look forward to our next stay here. great location, clean modern rooms. we didn't get a chance to ask about parking, we used a public one located minutes away (had only a small suitcase with us). hope to see more of this hospitality in other Mercure hotels, they could sure use it to learn from this one. 10/10
