The room was comfortable yet a bit sparse. The location was terrific for exploring Chartres. The elevator was a bit clumsy as the door would start to close and then reopen and then do this again. On the 3rd or so try, the door would finally close. Also, it was a bit strange to be crowded in the elevator with the cleaning cart and staff.

We very much enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately, the towels and bathrobes which were provided had a mildew smell, which was very unpleasant. This marred an otherwise superior experience.

Well located; very comfortable bed and room amenities; very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very expensive for what was offered. No wash clothes in the bathroom.
