I have stayed at the Mercure City hotel in Zurich several times and it has always been my preferred choice when visiting the city. The location is excellent, the rooms are comfortable, and the overall atmosphere makes it a reliable and pleasant place to stay. However, during my most recent stay, I noticed some changes that were a bit disappointing. It feels like certain amenities are being reduced. For example, there were no slippers or bathrobe in the room this time, and the coffee machine that used to be available has also been removed. These small details really made a difference in the overall comfort of previous stays. As a member of ALL - Accor, I usually receive a welcome amenity, which is always a nice touch and makes me feel valued as a returning guest. Unfortunately, on this occasion and the previous one, no welcome detail was provided. I still find the hotel comfortable and well-located, and the staff remains professional and friendly. However, I hope management reconsiders these recent reductions, as they do impact the overall guest experience, especially for loyal customers.

I have been multiple time in this functional hotel conveniently located with Zurich city center easy to reach by train. On the plus side of this trip, I got an appreciated room upgrade. On the negative side, I was waked up very early by corridor loud noises (trolleys of fresh linen arrival?)
