My husband and I enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the Novotel Zurich City West. The rooms are spacious and the air conditioning in the room works really well which is fantastic in a heat wave! There is a tram stop just around the corner and you buy a 24hour ticket for chf 9.40 which gives you unlimited transport on the trams, trains, buses and even a boat ride across to the Lindt chocolate factory. The no 51 tram takes you into the main train station (about 5 stops). Didn’t eat at the hotel but plenty of people did so I’d say the food is good. Great staff, clean hotel. Highly recommend.

Regarding the air conditioning, we will also have a closer look to ensure that everything is running smoothly. In consideration of our environmental commitments, our rooms are set to 21°C and guests can adjust the temperature in summer approximately 5 degrees down. This setting should provide a comfortable cooling experience; however, we understand that in some countries guests are used to much lower AC temperatures.
