We booked this hotel because it was near the main train station. The staff, room etc were fine but we did not stay for breakfast. All the restaurants nearby were very busy on the Thursday night we stayed.

Absolutely recommendable! The atmosphere is trendy and the staff is incredibly accommodating and genuinely takes time for their guests - the entire 25Hours team is wonderful. It has become our home away from home when we are in Zurich. From the first arrival when we were welcomed by the one and only Cyrill, my husband and I and our dog love to come back every time. With the 25hours Hotel Langstrasse, you will have a great location and no matter for what occasion, whether business, weekend trip with your family or friends - definitely a great choice!

Noisy, uncomfortable, dirty and a ripoff.

No AC, hot. The beds are not comfortable. The pillows are terrible. I slept on the floor in Japan and it was way more comfortable. The sink was clogged on arrival and didn't get fixed for 3 days. The staff lied about the cost of breakfast. 77CHF ($85) for a croissant and a coffee. At checkout when you see the actual cost, they say that we had to pay the higher rate since we didn't make reservations with the front desk the day before. We were charged twice at this extreme rate when we were told a different price when we ate. It didn't feel like an innocent mistake. It was like a well-rehearsed line. The area around the hotel has a lot of sketchy activity going on keeping the cops busy.

Dear Robert Thank you for taking your time and reviweing your stay at the 25Hours Hotel Zürich Langastrasse. We are sorry, that your experience did not meet your expectations and our standarts. We will internally discuss with our technician team to avoid such issues, like yours with the sink. May we kindly ask for your reservation details, so that we can investigate regardinf the prices you paid during breakfast? You can reach us under the following mail: rec.langstrasse@25hours-hotels.com. We hope to be able to reedeem ourselves and convince you to come back so that we can give you the true 25Hours experience. Best, Leonie Eff Assistant Front Office Manager

We stayed for one night at this hotel. It was a good experience. Very helpful staff at the front desk. They were able to give our room an hour before the check-in, and extended our stay by two hours, which was very helpful to get the much needed rest after a trans-Atlantic flight. I think we got an upgraded room which was spacious and convenient. Check-out was simple and not complicated, and I believe it was Cyril who took care of our check-out. The only thing I did not particularly like was the odd odor in the hallway. Very convenient hotel within a walking distance to Zurich HBF and a great selection of restaurants. We also explored a local, not-so fancy, family-owned diner called, Rosita's which was nearby the hotel. It was significantly cheaper, and the lady prepared a custom-vegetarian sandwich. When we visited second time, the lady was happy to have a repeat visitor!

Caroline J Couples - TripAdvisor review

Stayed for 2 nights en route home from a tour of Italy. Never been to Zurich before and when we return it most definitely won’t be to this place. What can I say in an attempt to be objective? It’s very trendy and the staff seem nice. Would that do? No, because that doesn’t even scratch the surface of the underlying issues. It’s in a good location, some 15 minute walk from the station, a flat, mainly pedestrian route. It’s far far closer to the sex shops and clusters of people hanging around on street corners in Brauerstrasse and around - fine during the day but hey, maybe the gritty underbelly and being propositioned by hookers is your thing in the evening. The hotel bedrooms are lovely - quirky and designedly, with a truly great shower, and with a free minibar consisting a couple of beers, a weird coke and 2 bottles of water. Nice touch. There’s a helpful step down from the sleeping area into the bathroom area so it makes for fun in the middle of the night when you go to the loo. Housekeeping don’t work on Saturdays. Something to do with the environment or something - great. Nobody explained that to us, we were fortunate enough to overhear reception telling another guest in front of us. Thankfully we don’t expect any service when we pay for hotels, just are humbly pleased for the opportunity to stay there. The beds are the hardest beds we’ve ever slept on and the single pillow each are scrawny and uncomfortable. Again, I assume we should be grateful. The bar and - particularly the restaurant ‘Neni’ are ruinously expensive, even for Switzerland. €10 for a bottle of sparkling water - not a branded bottle, a refilled one - and put on the bill as 2 bottles. When queried it was cheerfully declared that it was not 2 bottles, but it was for 2 people. e.g €5 EACH for water. This policy is presumably something to do with the environment - the healthy environment of the owner’s wallet perhaps? Highballs / G&T all around the €15 mark and again Frankly the all night party guests sharing their joy and excitement loudly in the corridors, the discomfort of the bedroom, the extortion, and the location make this a resounding no from us and when we come back to Zurich we will find somewhere that epitomises hospitality.
