Price is okay, and location also good. The staff is not really friendly and I had problems with getting the deposit back after loaning the hair drier. I paid in Euros so 20 instead of Swiss frank. And when I returned it there were no euros I paid even though the receptionist wrote my room number with the money I put in some box. They then returned me only 20 franks, which is less - took lot of discussions me telling them that I put in a deposit and wanted euros back, because I don't need franks and is much less. Anyway without success and really unfriendly ...

Well located, could be cleaner

I chose the hotel for its location and it was perfect for that. The check in and check out process was also pretty smooth. The room, however, was not as clean as I expected, with plenty of bobbles all over the place. The shower wouldn't drain, and because it's a small cubicle (which is OK for a budget hotel), I couldn't take a proper shower. I had to stop several times to let it drain before continuing to shower. Although I was careful, some water still spilled on the rooms floor, making a mess. It also doesn't feel sanitary that it doesn't drain, because then you start thinking of what is stuck in the drain... (Room 531)

The room was very small for two adults and kid the shower room and toilet very tiny, breakfast was not good, parking is also chargeable. with the price they charge I won’t recommend this for Family

We stayed in ibis Budget hotel for 3 days and it was good experience for us. Room is clean and good enough for a couple and a kid. Locality wise its just opposite to technopark tram stop and so you don't need to worry about transportation. I have also parked my car during my stay and had to pay around 25 euros/day.

Heard a lot of strange rules from the hotel staff and too many photoshopped pictures in booking.com. Rooms were too cramped for that money paid, absolutelty not for family with babies

I was waiting at the check in and another guest came and waited. As a new front-office came, she didn’t bother asking who was first and served a beer to the other guest. There was another officer, learning, who could have easily taken care of this on her own… When I got in the room, the lights of the toilet were not working. As I tried to inform the front desk, I had a lesson on how to switch on the lights… Maybe my English isn’t good enough? Then they came back and offered me a new room… which I didn’t ask for… I was not going to pack my staff again… Maybe the staff was trying to be helpful, but they should first listen, instead of interrupting the client. The room was also somewhat clean only… In COVID times it is clearly not satisfactory.

Air conditioning system was not working at hotel. Information was not communicated at check in. No fans provided. Room temperature was uncomfortable and rest was not achieved. Information prior to arrival or at check in would have need useful to seek alternative accommodations.

the air-con in our room was not functioning? the rooms was warm.

We stayed just for one night and didn't get the breakfast. Overall, the place met exactly our needs: a clean and comfortable place to stay in Zürich for a short time. The check-in and out were really easy and we have no issues during our stay.

Room was as expected, and location was ok (the area was not turistic but it has the tram in front of the hotel, 18 minutes from the center). Staff was rude and not very collaborative. At the time of the check in, I paid for the breakfast. The following day, I asked where to head to take breakfast and the answer was a simple: “No”. I asked, how come no?. The lady at front desk , in a very rude mode, asked me to wait. After several minutes, she went to the back of the front desk “to get my breakfast”, a “take away” one! I refused to take it as I was not told that was the way of serving breakfast. At the same time, the advertising screen behind her was clearly showing that breakfast was a buffet “a volonte”. She tried to lie to me, saying that due to COVID, that was how all Ibis in Switzerland was serving breakfast, which is not true, as I stayed in Ibis Lucern the night before and they served buffet breakfast! She also tried to make me believe wrong COVID measures of the country, not knowing that I live in Switzerland and I am very well informed. After arguing with me, and blaming me that “I should have asked before paying if the breakfast was a take away” ( as if I should even imagine that!) , I finally managed to get my refund.

For a short stay the room is fine, it is clean and has the basic necessaries. The breakfast was due to Covid restrictions awful. Received a paper bag with the most unhealthy awfull breakfast I've received in a hotel. When I was staying during the pandemic in other Ibis Budget hotels we had to provide a timeslot for breakfast, select upfront on a list what we would like to eat, and we received it on a tray. The selection was then also limited, but you had a choice and it was a proper breakfast. Not the horrible stuff I received this time.

Very nice personal on the reception desk

We are very satisfied with our stay in the hotel. The main reason for that is the nice and kind personal on the reception desk. Some other points - the location is very practical, the hotel is clean and the rooms are clean. First small unpleasant thing that we had is the sheets with blood in the first room. It's not so nice especial in Corona time. The second bigger unpleasant thing the we experienced is the contact with the management... We are traveling to Zürich because of the medical issues (doctors, appointments..) and we have already stress with that. Because of our situation and the weather condition our appointment was changed and I tried to cancel our booking but I was only few minutes late. Nothing helped! My emails with explanations and offered proofs , phone-calls from my 11 years son (in that moment my wife and I couldn't phone) couldn't changed the situation. We have to pay the the amount or we can change the date for one day. I suggested to have that payment for the next time but.... nothing. Only short sentence from Sophi - repeating again that cancellation after 14 o'clock it's not possible and she is sorry for that. I know that you can say: the procedures are so and we can do nothing...etc., etc., but if your procedures are over the medical and problematic situation of the people and you are following the written procedures like robots.... than the guests are not on the first place on your list.... But I gave the number 8 and we are satisfied with our stay because of the kindness of the personal on the reception desk. In that stressful day they helped us... Thank you Friendly regards R. It was my first visit to Zurich. Hotel is quite nice and very easy acessable with public transportation. Hotel located also nice place. All the staff of hotel are professional and friendly. Specially breakfast staff and night receptionist were very friendly.

Best IBIS budget we've stayed at. Was pleasantly suprised when I entered the room - it was spotless. Lots of plugs, comfy bed. Clean towels. We couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was traditionally continental plenty to have.

This property is located in the heart of the city, right across the train station. All attractions like lake Geneva, jet d’Eau, flower clock, old town are within walking distance. Breakfast was well laid out with a wide choice of fruits, croissants, cakes, bread, cheese and cereals. We had a sound sleep on their very comfortable bed and pillow. Hotel doesn’t have own parking so one has to park in an underground paid parking near the station.
