This hotel needs to understand that hospitality should be equal for everyone. Our Indian group experienced what strongly felt like racial discrimination during breakfast arrangements. Watching white guests, including our own driver, being treated differently while we were isolated in another seating section was deeply disappointing. On top of that, the rooms were dark, showers were poorly designed, and bathroom water management was terrible. Threatening guests with a 500 Euro carpet fine without even providing shower curtains is unfair and unprofessional. Indian travelers should be aware before booking here.

Our group left this hotel with a very negative impression. The breakfast seating arrangement felt openly biased against Indian guests. We were seated separately from the main restaurant while white guests were accommodated better. It may be subtle for some people, but for us the discrimination was very noticeable and painful. The infrastructure issues made things worse — poor lighting, uncomfortable bathroom setup, and ridiculous fine notices. Definitely not the hospitality we expected during our Europe trip.

This hotel needs to understand that hospitality should be equal for everyone. Our Indian group experienced treatment during breakfast arrangements that strongly felt discriminatory and racially biased. Watching white guests — including our own driver — being accommodated differently while we were isolated in a separate seating section was deeply disappointing and uncomfortable. True hospitality is about making every guest feel equally respected and welcome, regardless of nationality or background. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. We hope the management seriously reflects on this and ensures fair and respectful treatment for all guests in the future.

Extremely disappointing experience at Mövenpick Hotel Zürich Airport. A hotel of this standard is expected to treat all guests with dignity and professionalism, but unfortunately that was completely missing during our stay. What was most upsetting was the behavior towards our Indian group during meal time. We were asked to sit separately while having food, which felt discriminatory and highly disrespectful. Such treatment is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Additionally, the rooms were not equipped with even the basic amenities that any standard hotel should provide. The overall service and guest handling were far below expectations. A hotel may have good infrastructure, but without respect for guests and proper hospitality, the experience becomes extremely unpleasant. Definitely not recommended based on our experience.
