Our experience at theTbilisi Philarmonic by Mercure Hotel was extremely satisfactory. Previous to our arrival, the "Philarmonic Team" already counseled and supported us with logistic topics ( booking taxis, restaurants, etc). The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is well located outside the hectic of Tbilisi centrum yet within 30 minutes walking distance from the main museums and other main tourist attractions.

The room which was superior category where we lived was good but it was noisy but when i asked reception for help , they immediately changed room with really nice view and the room was light. Many thanks to Ani and David for her kindness and the staff was professional.

Staff are so rude and bored. They deliver 0 customer service. I don’t know where they were trained but they should definitely not work in hospitality. At check in the front desk person was so unbothered almost annoyed having to deal with customers checking in during the night. Then on another occasion the security guy came to tell me that I couldn’t lay on the sofa that was in the reception, although it was specifically shaped so that you could lay on it for a brief moment waiting for my taxi. And the cherry on the cake was when me and my friend both got individually chased to make payment right there and then. My understanding is that payment needs to be requested either at check in or at check out, not during the stay. And it felt like a manhunt being stopped as soon as I left the elevator to ask me to pay now. What a disgrace, maybe they thought I was a thief. I would never stay here again not recommend it to anyone. General manager needs to step up his game, he was largely absent. I don’t know how or why Mercure and Accor let this property operate under their brand because it’s clearly hurting brand equity and as a ALL Accor member I will think carefully before booking a hotel that is related to the group.
