She was warm, friendly, and had a genuine smile throughout the check-in process. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was extremely disappointing. The bed frame in my first room made very loud squeaking noises whenever I sat down or moved on the bed. I called the front desk, and the gentleman who answered told me that someone would come to inspect it. He then hung up immediately. I waited for 30 minutes, but nobody came. I called again, and it was the same gentleman. Once again, he said someone would come, and then he simply hung up without even saying goodbye. I found his manner extremely rude and unprofessional. I waited another 30 minutes in the room, but still nobody came. Eventually, I had no choice but to go downstairs to the front desk myself and report the problem in person. The front desk then moved me to another room on a lower floor. Unfortunately, the bed frame in the new room also made squeaking noises, although they were somewhat quieter than in the first room. By that point, I was exhausted from having to deal with the issue for so long, so I decided not to ask for another room. What was even more disappointing was that, while I was waiting, I also used the hotel’s in-room service QR code to submit a request explaining that the bed frame was making noise and needed to be checked. I received absolutely no response. Later that night, the hotel’s fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, seriously disturbing my sleep. The next morning, I asked the front desk what had happened. I was told that someone had been smoking. However, there was not even a simple apology for the disturbance. A hotel can certainly have occasional maintenance problems, but what really matters is how those problems are handled. In this case, the response was extremely slow, communication was poor, and I had to repeatedly follow up myself just to get something done. This was a very frustrating and exhausting experience, and unfortunately, I decided to move to another hotel. The only positive part of my stay was the wonderful lady who checked me in. Her warmth and professionalism stood in stark contrast to the service I experienced afterwards. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the response time and the way guest complaints are handled.
