Everything has been great during our stay, check in, stay, etc...but... I'm a an Accor Silver Member...and since the check in the Lady tried to give us a room by 12 (noon) and she gaves all the information abou the hotel. She also offered us a late check out for 6pm on Thursday Mat 1st. We sure made our appreciation for this offer and we said it was fine even if we should have left earlier by 4pm. So said thanks according to YOUR offer; I'd like to point it out that we did NOT ask anything; everything was offered us. On Thursday May 1st, let's say around 10am before exiting the hotel I passed by the reception just to confirm our late check out...but the Guy who was at the reception (on training alone) replied me that was not possible. I've been a little bit disappointed cause as said, we did not ask anything. He asked me to wait and He checked with the Manager/Housekeeping. 10mins later I've been back at the reception, he called again and he said that the maximum time for check out would be 2.30pm. I told him the same word...you offered us, I did no ask for anything... Anyway we've been out, came back at 12 (noon) to pack everything has been great during our stay, check in, stay, etc...but... So that's what happened. As Front Office Manager in Italy I suggested to put in yout system a note/remark about what you offered to Guests or passing these kind of information internally. I could have also skipped the reception and remained faithful to what was offered to us at check in that morning...and you were about to solve the problem of a room still occupied by the Guests without any reasons...etc, etc...losing time from my side.
