I booked two rooms on a family rate. When booking, since I'm an AllAccor Gold member, I requested early check-in. Upon arriving at the hotel around 7:00 AM, reception informed me that only one room was ready, and the second room, which was connected to ours, wasn't ready not because it was occupied but because it hadn't been cleaned. The second room wasn't ready until 10:00 AM, and the four of us, including the children, spent three hours in one room, trying to fit into the beds. Breakfast. Breakfast wasn't included in the accommodation package, and I paid an extra $90 for both days for breakfast. Upon arriving for breakfast, about an hour and a half before it ended, we discovered that all the food trays were almost empty, and the remaining food, which should have been hot, was cold. We spent about 20 minutes at breakfast, and the staff didn't replace a single dish. Moreover, when I ordered a cappuccino, I was told I had to pay extra for it. Where is it ever seen that you have to pay extra for coffee at a paid breakfast?! I've never encountered this at any Novotel. They offered me filter coffee, but they ran out of that too. Furthermore, we had to set our own table; there were no napkins or utensils on the tables. After this "breakfast," I demanded a refund at reception. The hotel only gave me a refund within one day. Overall, we were expecting Georgian hospitality combined with Accor quality, but we didn't get it. The staff, especially in the restaurant, is indifferent to guests. On the positive side, the location is good, the hotel is new, and the rooms are clean. However, in my experience, the hotel doesn't live up to the standard of a Novotel, especially the staff.
