Hotel is new, and was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was acceptable. Public transport is a 10-minute walk away, up steep steps to Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue (a well-lit path, but I would not take that route at night as a woman alone). However: plugging in two phones and a set of earbuds was enough to make the electricity fail (the staff promptly moved us to a different room); when leaving the room, we had to pull the door very hard to make it close (security risk); the keycards stopped working twice in a 6-day stay and had to be reprogrammed; a small water leak appeared under the washbasin. The hot and cold water dispenser in the corridor is a welcome feature, although I had to go to a different floor to find one that worked. Overall, I was disappointed that so many small things failed to work in such a new hotel: however, the staff remedied all the problems promptly.
