The hotel is perfectly situated (close to T1 tram and Jean Macé metro stop), it is 5 minutes walk from the Presqu'ile. Reception staff was exteremly kind and helpful. However, I had serious issues about the room itself: there seem to have been neither substantial sweeping / vacuuming before us taking the room, nor daily cleaning in this respect (visible dust and dirt on the floor and under the bed). The furnishing/fitting out of the room was rather old worn off, which is okay but got very problematic about the window and the blinds because the noise of the street (quite a few bars under across the street) really got into the room.

Great location, within walking distance of central Lyon, the rivers Rhone and Soane. Excellent buffet breakfast. Courteous and friendly staff. Comfortable beds, clean and well priced rooms.

We had booked a two days stay thu.28-sat.30 dec. 2023 - reservation MVKHCWCJ (1) but learnt on the 28 dec. while we were driving to come that the hotel 8th dec. 2023 11:48 email committing to reserve a parking slot had been ignored / forgotten (2) we were told that our reservation 2 nights * 3 breakfast had no breakfast so we did not take them on fri. 29th dec. morning . While we had booked and paid with our reservation .... these breakfasts.
