All was OK except the air conditioning in our room ( 516 ) was not functioning correctly. It was impossible to cool the room during the night and the outside temperature ( around 25c at night ) was the same as the interior of the room with the air conditioning set at its highest setting. My wife and I slept very poorly. The breakfast was excellent as ever.

Our rooms weren't cleaned when we were away from 9 am to 4 pm, and then when asked again to have them cleaned around 7 pm when we got out again, they weren't cleaned properly. Water in the shower didn't drain and the room ceiling had a huge spider web All in all, not what you except from a five star hotel

Visited on a special occasion. Staff friendliness and helpfulness made the visit particularly special; Central location was a bonus

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were happy to chat about where we should go and give us directions. The room was very spacious and the view was great. The room was a little tired looking but very clean.

This is our 2nd visit to Lyon, and this very special hotel. Again it did not disappoint. The hotel employees go out of their way to be helpful, the rooms are immaculate, and the breakfast is a treat! You are made to feel very special during your stay here. Merci!
