We stayed for a week , really loved it. Wonderful hotel in a best possible location. Hotel staff really helpful, concierges Habib and Pierre helped to book trips and with train tickets. Lyon is a lovely city and our stay at Le Royal hotel made our trip really memorable

My stay was perfect from the start. Very friendly staff who kindly spoke English to me since I know very little French. Made me feel comfortable and taken care of in a new city. My room was beautiful and very cozy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lyon. It was also located in the perfect area for sight-seeing and getting on the metro.

The location is great and I can’t come y enough on the great service. They are kind, and very helpful, but the hotel is very old and in desperate need of renovation or at least a very good maintenance. Loved the beds. Slept like a baby.
