We had only one day in Lyon to explore this beautiful city. Our experience with Hotel Royal Lyon was perfection in every way. Every interaction with the staff, from the front desk to the concierge, to the staff in the bar area for a nightcap, was wonderful. Each and every person was friendly, professional, and immensely helpful in every respect. We would visit Lyon again, if for no other reason, to stay in this hotel again. The staff at Hotel Le Royal Lyon alone made us love Lyon. Merci Beaucoup.

Had an amazing time in Lyon partly due to this hotel. My room was comfortable, the decor is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the staff is simply the best. Incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. However, had some quirky maintenance issues such as leaky shower door and TV that randomly turned itself off. Recommend staying here if you can ignore or work around such issues. I would definitely stay here again.

I give high marks to your staff. They were friendly and helpful. The rooms however were rundown. Some of the furniture looked like it came from a second hand store. At the prices you charge this is unacceptable and frankly insulting.
