This Ibis hotel in Tours being only 7 hours from Calais, it makes for the perfect stopover on a long journey from the South of Spain

Unfortunately the bathroom was not as clean as it should be with hair left in the shower. The bedding also had hairs on it. Budget price so room was as expected but it should be clean.

Very friendly staff especially the gentleman who booked us in with very good english language and genial sense of humour. Having bar and restaurant in neighbouring hotel useful. The young man behind the bar, restaurant and reception staff here were also extremely friendly and helpful.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, and lovely staff. They let us use the swimming pool of the fancier Ibis Styles next door. Enjoyed all the exercise equipment in the room and up for borrowing too! To improve: change misleading signage+Google location for the hotel (us and one other family ended up at the more expensive ibis next door by mistake upon arrival), have hair dryers that work, change misleading signage in the elevators for the rooms, and fix the smell in the staircase But overall we had a lovely lovely stay!
