Arrived after 9 m so had to check in at neighbouring Styles hotel - quite a surprise. Generally there is a means of entering the reservation number and obtaining an entry code and room number. This would have been preferable.

Stopped for a night on our way further south. Lovely lady at check in, hotel was super basic but all that was required for an overnight. Pull down bed was great. Pleasantly surprised to find a pool which was a great way to entertain a journey bored 4 year old! Didn’t eat anything.

We had a very unpleasant experience when we went into one of our rooms and it was already occupied. No complementary measures to compensate for this error were offered, not even a simple breakfast.

Dear Elaine, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding the room you stayed in. I note that you felt the value for money was poor. However, paying less than €90—breakfast included—for a 24 m² room with a bathroom and separate toilet in a 2-star hotel during peak tourist season does not seem excessive. I have also taken note of your comment regarding the meat served at the La Planque de Zhao restaurant. Unfortunately, beef can sometimes turn out tough, a factor beyond the chef's control. The hotel itself was good. A lovely room – neat, clean and spacious enough, with a lovely shower; in short, everything you could want. However, when we arrived, the room was pleasantly cool (it was over 40 degrees outside). But when we came back from the restaurant, the air conditioning had stopped working. It was over 30 degrees in the room and we didn’t get a wink of sleep. We got up at 4:00 am and left at 4:30 am because it was more comfortable in the open-top car and decided to skip breakfast.

Positive.. although why my booking reference for the budget wasn't recognised at the styles reception seems odd.it caused confusion and some stress.... you are all the same company??

A lukewarm welcome . Spotless room, great value. Bedside tables were useless as you can’t put anything on them, they are like a metal cage work. Breakfast was just about ok - then I saw the receptionist flitting between looking after the desk and food. Tearing bread and moving the ham with her hands ……. Not the best food hygiene. Coffee awful …….
