We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the comfort of the room and your perception of value for money. Our rooms are compact and functional, measuring approximately 12 m², in keeping with the ibis brand concept. We also understand your comparison with the Mercure in Troyes; however, the two brands offer different levels of accommodation and services, while room rates may vary depending on demand and the dates of stay. Regarding the temperature, our hotel is equipped with an air-cooling system rather than conventional air conditioning. During periods of high heat, this system can reach its limits. Portable air-conditioning units are available on request from reception, and we regret that this solution was not offered to you during your stay. Finally, your report concerning the restaurant courtyard has been taken very seriously. We have passed this information on to the relevant teams so that the area can be checked and the preventive measures already in place reinforced. We sincerely regret that your experience did not reflect the quality of welcome and service we aim to provide, and we hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust during a future visit to Tours. Location was great as it was near the station and the town centre. Lovely to sit in the courtyard and the Bistro Regent was great. Room was small but clean. A nice personal touch would be a box of tissues and a mini kettle, mugs, tea & coffee in the room.

No conditioning at the room at all, the room is small, the bed is short and small for two, the fit out is very old. We stayed few days ago in Mercure in Troyes and it was amazing, although the price for the room was the same. There were rats in the restaurant yard.

A very clean and well presented hotel in a good location in Tours - perfect for a short break in the Loire. The rooms are a little tired, but otherwise the staff were very friendly and the in-hotel food not bad.

All the staff were pleasant and welcoming. My status was recognized and a later check out confirmed with no drama. The hotel even let me park my motorcycle just outside. Restaurant staff were also great.

The rooms were not the biggest, but the hotel was clean and tidy, with a nice games area, and welcoming bar area too. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. It would have been nice to have kettles and tea in every room.

My first time in this hotel and overall friendly service. Easy to find and a little outside the centre, which is great for me. The weekend crowd was a bit noisy throughout the night so I hope to get a quieter floor next time as well as double bed ( and not only double sheets) next time.

The walls are so thin that the constant opening and closing of adjoining rooms bathroom doors (until the early hours) kept us awake most of the night. Plus the bed was just a mattress topper on top of a hard cushion type of thing: very uncomfortable and one of the worst nights sleep we’ve ever had. Reception staff were very good on arrival!
