Going to Chenonceau this was a good place to stay. My booking was found eventually on arrival, even though I had completed check-in online. Room small for three of us but cool and clean. Swimming pool a real plus for a 7 year old. The woodland walk to the local playground was a lovely extra. Breakfast OK, but even at 8.30 the impact of a coach party on early breakfast was evident. Lovely server tried her best to replenish stocks but obviously the kitchen didn’t expect the onslaught. Generally staff pretty grumpy and not very welcoming. Pity.
