Unfortunately, the service was poor and the rooms were awful. The room felt like they were falling apart, uncomfortable and very basic, even for a budget hotel. Staff were unhelpful and the overall experience was disappointing. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. There booking system didn’t show we had breakfast even though I showed her my booking the staff argued with me that we didn’t have it.

My main issue with the hotel was how far it actually was from the centre (25-minute walk). The immediate area has nothing of interest and my partner felt unsafe alone at night. It looks dishevelled and unkempt. Otherwise, you get what you pay for... It's cheap, so don't expect anything wow. Apart from that, the staff were friendly, I was able to park the car in a safe space, and, our dog was accepted.

Shabby hotel. Not at central as expected. Room tiny and no usb charging points. No refreshments in room. Shower room tiny

Great location, hotel was quiet despite being next to the train line. Air conditioning worked great and was appreciated with the heat wave. Room was simple but everything you would want from a budget hotel stay. Staff friendly. Good wifi. Late check in was straight forward, collected key from next door Mercure hotel.

It's a budget hotel, so rooms are on the small-side and fairly spartan - but it works for me. Very convenient to train station. Had some internet problems the first weekend - the wifi kept dropping my connection. After that it worked fine. Desk staff was very helpful. They should tell you in advance that if your are checking in late you need to go to the Mercure hotel next door. Instead they tell you that reception is only open until 10 o'clock. This caused great panic for me when my train was delayed.

The first room I was booked into had not been cleaned but when I went back to reception they quickly allocated me a different room, and that was very clean and tidy. Basic facilities in the room and a microwave, drinks machine and hot water available in the foyer. Also a general vending machine. The staff were all friendly and helpful

Basic budget stay. Clean and confortable stay. Could have had more pillows, but then I could have asked. Breakfast was more than adequate, fresh fruit was amazing. Staff really lovely and friendly. Good value for money.
