I stayed here from 19 to 21 August 2026 and had an excellent experience. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great. The only downside was the breakfast, which was quite limited and did not match the high standard of the hotel.

Just suggest to improve the key card of room, which is insensitive enough. We take time to learn how to use it successfully from hotel staff. Quick inserting key card is the important trick. The hotel staff provided an extra plastic card is better than the original paper card.

Nice staff but the room we had was old and needs a complete refresh. The carpet in the room was very poor and dirty. The shower was just a hand held hose, so impossible to take shower. Calling it the "centre" is a stretch as it's a long walk to the real centre of Tours

I am delighted to read that you were pleased with the welcome you received from our team. However, I am sorry to hear that your room was not to your liking. Please note that we have refurbished two floors at the start of this year, and the other floors are due to follow in turn. Your room will be refurbished at the end of the summer season. As for the bath, it is fitted with a bath screen to prevent water from splashing all over the bathroom, but perhaps you would have preferred a shower curtain. Finally, our name is perfectly suited to our location: we are in the centre of Tours on one of the main squares, though admittedly not in the very heart of the city where the half-timbered houses are preserved and where planning permission for such a large hotel would not have been granted. Continued...Parking was an adjacent medevil structure that had a narrow steep stairs to access parking. I've stayed in several Ibis locations and was satisfied but this was the worst

The experience you describe bears no resemblance to our hotel. In fact, there was no change of room during your stay in Tours, our building is still quite new and is a far cry from the medieval structure you describe, the car park rate don't match that of your hotel. The dishes and the name of the restaurant do not match either. I hope your stay in Tours went well, we would be delighted to welcome you back on a future visit to Tours. Kind regards, Célia B. Overall comfortable large rooms, bathroom small by contrast with no walk in shower, lack of power sockets. Seem reluctant to apply the Air con in the communal areas including restaurant and corridors so was uncomfortable at times..

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days (Ironman Tours). We had a perfect stay. Room is basic, but very spacious and clean! Beds comfortable, aircon working really well. Parking facilities good. Breakfast good. Possibility to have or take away a free coffee, tea or water. People are very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this hotel! 👌

Only complaint is that the plastic mattresses/duvets mean that I wake up in the middle of the night drenched in a pool of perspiration. I cannot be the first member who has noticed this. Can anything be done?

I booked online but I had an issue with PayPal going through. I immediately contacted the hotel by phone and email. I asked to pay by card, they assured me it was fine and I could pay on arrival. When we arrived at 10:45pm our booking had been cancelled and there was no family room available. The person on reception was really helpful. He found us two rooms next to each other and adjusted the price. However, one of the rooms smelt like a sewer. My 3 year old was so tired she was immediately asleep so I had to stay in the room. I tried opening the bathroom window but only one hinge was attached. I emailed down and said I wanted to be moved rooms the next day, which again, the excellent reception staff sorted. Breakfast was not great. Bread that came out was still frozen and the coffee machine was set at such a high temperature is scalded my husband's mouth. We always stay in an Ibis to break up long drives in France, but this one was very disappointing, saved only by the brilliant reception staff.

The hotel was in a good location, we found the staff rather rude and unhelpful, the room was adequate. It felt more like a budget ibis, not an ibis styles. Very basic and average.
