I only spent one short night. The only issue I had was with the rather hard and uncomfortable mattress.

I am outraged by what happened to me and my family at the Ibis Tbilisi Airport Hotel. We were checked into room 315, which smelled strongly of sewage. Our reservation was at 2 a.m. on November 6th, and I was with my two children and wife. I asked reception for a quieter room, but they gave me a room directly overlooking the highway (of the four sides of the hotel, only one faces the highway). Because of the stench, we opened the windows at 5 a.m.; it was very cold and noisy. We couldn't sleep, and we didn't ask to change room because we planned to leave the hotel at 8 a.m. for our flight. The room, booked for four, with two double beds (marketed as premium), had only two pairs of slippers, two toiletries, and two bottles of water—all for two, even though there were four of us staying. The receptionist didn't speak basic Russian (or, more likely, pretended not to). Considering that all seven of the seven people checking in at 2 a.m. were Russian speakers, the choice of a staff member who doesn't speak Russian is very strange. An elderly man had trouble checking in and was in a panic because he didn't speak English. Overall, the experience was extremely unpleasant. We didn't get much sleep because of the stench and noise, and when we checked out, they didn't even ask us how were staying.
