I believe the hotel was still being built when I first visited Georgia in 2015, on my second visit I made the mistake of NOT staying there, but on my following four visits to Georgia I have stayed at the Mercure Tbilisi Old Town and have always, always had an exceptionally good stay there. Location, rooms, staff, food are all extremely good.

Really enjoyed my stay. Nice hotel, great and welcoming personnel, good restaurant downstairs. The only minor drawback I've encountered was suboptimal showerhead in my room: it had only one mode and wasn't very effective, sho showering took longer than it should.
