The hotel is well located, close to tram station and carrefour city, 15min walk from city center. The family rooms have a double bed and a bunk bed in a corner so that you have enough space even with 4 people. They seem to have been renovated very recently. The air conditioning worked very well even during the days with 39*C outside. The private parking (accessible from the IBIS budget side) is also very practical. The entrance hall with bar and breakfast rooms are also spacious and welcoming. Very positive experience.

No safe in the room which we have come to depend on our trips to Europe. No facial tissue which is a basic item I have seen in all hotel rooms in my years of traveling even one star hotels. When asked reception for one, they said they don’t have any and told me to take some napkins to use as tissues. We ended up buying a box from a store ourselves. We also had an issue with the AC where it couldn’t be set below 22C (or 21C). I understand that might be an issue with many hotels in Europe but we didn’t have this issue in Dijon with another hotel chain and in Liege, Belgium with Ibis Styles.

Please note that our room amenities fully comply with ibis Styles France brand standards, and with what is required for a hotel of our category, though we are sorry some aspects did not meet your personal expectations. While our rooms do not have an individual safe, a secure safe is available at the front desk for guests wishing to store their valuables — simply hand them to our team and we will keep them for as long as needed. As for the air conditioning, our rooms are equipped with a guest-adjustable system. For ecological reasons, the temperature cannot be set below a defined minimum — this is a general policy applicable to hotels in France. We are sorry to hear about the tissue issue and the response you received at the front desk. Facial tissues are not part of our standard room amenities, but we regret that the alternative suggested did not feel satisfactory, and we will take note of this feedback. Quiet location, close to the synagoge. The tram stop is not Republique, but one stop further. One morning at approx 8.05AM the electricity seemed to shortcut with the lights in the room flashing on and off. It felt like an alarm, but no alarm sounded. Using the light switches had no effect. Very strange and the reception couldn’t give an answer on what had happened, but they seemed to be aware of it.
