My wife and I stayed here two nights. We were checked in by the friendly and very helpful Mary France. Our room was okay but the carpet needs replacement. It was filthy. Water leaked out from the shower area. Bad design. The commode area is awkward. Breakfast was good. Generally, all the staff were friendly. The location was good.

From its facade on the street to its staff's knowledge and helpfulness, the Hotel Mercure Strasbourg Centre is unexciting and mediocre at best. We saw this listed as a four-star hotel, but it merits three stars at best. This is nothing like the four-star hotels we stayed in in other European cities.

Very very and I mean VERY bad service. -Tv cast was not working and the technician didnt come for the full two days. -The room was not clean. -The toilet sink water was flooding always -we forgot a pink water bottle that i had to get back to the hotel to get it in the same day we checked out, they informed us that they threw it!! So bad seriously bad actually it was the worst experience we had in a hotel ever

I recently stayed at Mercure Centre Strasbourg, and while the location and amenities were satisfactory, I was highly disappointed by the lack of proper noise insulation. Throughout my stay, I could clearly hear the sound of neighboring doors opening and closing, which was quite disruptive, especially late at night. The real issue, however, was the morning noise. At approximately 6 AM, I was abruptly woken by loud sounds coming from either the hallway or adjacent rooms, making it impossible to get a good night's rest. For a hotel at this price point, I expected a much more peaceful experience. If management addresses the soundproofing, it could greatly improve the overall stay. Until then, I would hesitate to recommend this hotel for anyone sensitive to noise.
