Ask about welcome amenities for Accor gold member and the reception say “there is no such a thing”

However, we would like to clarify a few points regarding the benefits associated with your Gold status. While this status does indeed entitle you to a room upgrade, this remains subject to hotel availability as well as the length of your stay. On the day of your arrival, the hotel was fully booked, which unfortunately did not allow us to offer an upgrade at that time. Nevertheless, we made the necessary arrangements to assign you a Privilege room for the remainder of your stay. We would also like to reassure you that our staff is well trained regarding the benefits and offers of the Accor loyalty program, depending on each member’s status. You were correctly informed that you are entitled to a welcome drink. Regarding welcome amenities, these may vary from one hotel to another and can include personalized notes, small gifts, or local souvenirs. Please rest assured that we always do our utmost to ensure our guests have a pleasant stay. We would have appreciated receiving feedback on your overall experience with us. The hotel is centrally located and with an underground car park, it made the location even better. Everywhere was within walking distance and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast room on the top floor gave some limited roof-top views, but the menu was good. All staff we spoke to were very pleasant and helpful.
