The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was good and generous. The location cannot be more central. The hotel lobby and restaurant are modern and nicely decorated, so everything seemed great at first. Unfortunately, the room has no AC. We were sharing the room with our two children, so having four people in a small room made it necessary to sleep with the windows open. The fan provided barely made a difference for one of us. Unfortunately, the noise from the street, combined with the early sunrise, made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, we really appreciated the friendly staff and the hotel’s common areas, but the lack of AC was a major downside and we will think twice before booking there again during the summer.

Hotel was clean and well kept. Staff were courteous, helpful and polite. However the lack of air conditioning was a major problem in the recent heat, as was the lack of parking. Those two things are why the score is not higher.

It was 37C and there is no air conditioning in the rooms (only in the lobby). I asked in advance via email if I could move to another ibis property nearby given my asthma and was denied the change. I was miserable each night (3) and unable to breathe/sleep. I had to lay with wet bath towels on my body at night to try and cool off. The fans didn't work well either (they are were very low speed). The desk staff were kind (extra fans, lower floor room on request), but even they noted that they are the only hotel in the area without a/c and it is a problem. Can't recommend until they update their facilities.

The rooms don't have AC. In summer was a nightmare to sleep. Becauser of this we had to sleap with the window open and laud noise came from outside the room, in front of the hotel, till late in the night. Probably because of the proximity of the hote to a bar/club opened in the night.

Love Ibis styles hotels everywhere, this is no exception. No fault of the hotel but Strasbourg tramlines are being dug up so our normal route from Elsau p+r was a nightmare, and we had to walk the last 20 minutes in 32 degrees heat! No A/C in the hotel bedrooms either - they do provide a fan but it was a very hot night. The welcome drink that we get because of our ALL status was a bit weird- the receptionist said wine was not included as a welcome drill, we have never been told that before.

Really enjoyed stay at this hotel. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room spotless clean. Good breakfast. Fantastic location close to all good sites. Only thing to mention is our room didnt have Aircon, but there was a fan and the windows open so it didn't bother us.

Good breakfast and free Water appreciated. Staff was really nice and helpful. Also italian speaking, very rare. Position in the city perfect and strategic. But: 1. Bathroom sink very small 2. Room window on blind outer space was very negative, since we get no fresh air to cool the room and view was awful. Better treatment was expected for a frequent traveller like me. Next time we will be happy in room 203 instead of 201. But globally it was a nice stay. Thank you Kind regards

Thomas the receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly and provided us with electric fans, but due to the exceptionally warm weather the room was nigh impossible to cool down. Consequently we were roasting and could not sleep. It’s obviously not as modern an hotel as the Ibis close by, which had I been able to predict the unseasonably hot weather, I would have booked instead. Desperately needs to upgrade for summer weather. Excellent breakfast and the room itself was comfortable enough, probably my fault for not checking that it had AC. Parking was very expensive. With hotel discount it was 28E for 24 hours in the nearby underground car park.

A wonderful, cosy hotel near to all the sights and a 10 minute walk from the central train station which is also a 10 minute ride from the airport. Excellent staff and a very varied breakfast with cold cuts, cheese, eggs, lots of different types of bread. Yoghurt, cereal, and pastries too. The room was clean, comfortable, although small the space was well organised. We had a view of the river from our window. The bathroom was quite large, the only complaint being, once wet, the shower floor was very slippery. Overall a beautiful hotel and we will definitely be returning. A special thanks to Mehid and the other young gentleman (sorry didn't get your name) who gave us lots of tips for sightseeing.
