Very useful lobby consisting of several different areas to host friends - we used this facility extensively because we asked friends to come over to the hotel to meet us. Staff was very helpful at all times. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant and coffee shop was also surprisingly good 😀 Our second time in this hotel. If we ever travel to Strasbourg again, there's no need to look for another hotel.

The "premium room" "with sofa" should be better described as "with additional sofa-bed"... The tiny, windowless space the sofa is shoehorned could be better clarified. The "new" bed was not very good and the room is disturbingly bright at night due to the insufficient curtains and industrial strength "emergency ecit" sign over the door.

Furthermore, the photos also show the location and layout of this additional sleeping arrangement. We are sorry if these details were not sufficiently clear at the time of your booking and will consider a more explicit way of presenting this information to avoid any confusion. Regarding the lighting, as the room in question is an accessible room, it is fitted with an emergency exit sign, a mandatory installation required by the safety commission. We understand that this may have affected the quality of your sleep, but unfortunately it is not possible to switch it off or cover it. As for the curtains, these comply with Ibis France’s standards. We have, however, taken note of your comment and will pass it on to head office to explore possible improvements in this regard.
