Our stay at Ibis Paris Nation Davout turned out to be a genuinely pleasant and comfortable experience, especially considering how affordable it is for Paris. From the moment we arrived, the staff made a good impression—they were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with directions or small requests, which made us feel at ease right away. The room itself was simple but thoughtfully designed. It wasn’t large, but everything was clean, well-organized, and practical. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and after long days of walking around Paris, we really appreciated having a quiet and cozy place to come back to. We also liked that the space felt modern and fresh rather than outdated. Breakfast was another highlight. It wasn’t overly fancy, but there was a good variety—fresh bread, pastries, very good cafe au lait, and some healthier options—which was more than enough to start the day. The location of this hotel is not right in the middle of the busiest tourist areas and with the metro nearby, it was easy to get to central Paris quickly without dealing with constant crowds. If we had to point out a downside, it would be that the rooms are on the smaller side, but that’s quite typical for Paris and didn’t bother us much given how functional everything was. Overall, Ibis Paris Nation Davout is a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay without spending a fortune. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it delivers exactly what you need and does it very well.

We were a family of 4 squished into a room with barely any room to walk around the beds and absolutely no room to put our backpacks. Thank goodness we we're backpacking because no other luggage would work. There were no surfaces to put anything. We had room to sleep and that is it. The bathroom didn't even have any counter space to put anything down. Under the bed was dusty, we found out by losing stuff and having to dig for it. This should not be boasted as a family room aw it barely fit us 4.

Though they sell them through the app, there are no 2 double bed rooms to accomodate 4 people. It took us one hour and three attempts to finally get two different rooms having to split the family.

I reserved two nights for my sister, they made her pay double of the tax, and again at the end of her stay, so she paid four times more than the actual tax. We went afterwards to the hotel 3 times, the last time they assured us she would be reimbursed in 72 hours at the latest. That was a week ago.
