We were in room #205. Room: in need of maintenance and deep cleaning - walls full of dust, sticky surfaces in the bathroom. Bathroom: bathroom door do not close in full and can't be locked. Public bathroom (lobby): dirty, same garbage on the floor for days, meaning that nobody is cleaning it daily or at multiple time as it should and given how much is in use. Bins full of paper towels. Dirty toilet. its really uncomfortable. Breakfast: poor quality and options, basically a massive lack of attention and creativity, specially given the small number of options - (old vegetables (clearly saved from the previous day), no salt, paper or oil to add) Cleaners: a cleaner was mopping the floor in the middle of the breakfast hours, no only disturbing guests but also making the floor wet and risky to walk, Staff: most of them where friendly and multitasking at all times.

Hello, thank you for sharing your experience at JO&JOE. We apologize for the maintenance and the cleaning. we shared everything with our technician and housekeeping team to double check everything. Bathrooms (in the lobby and different floors) are cleanined at least once a day. Breakfast is prepared everyday by our team and is composed of fresh fruits, veggies, croissants and pains au chocolat, ham, cheese, bread, etc. We take evrything you said into account to improve ourselves. The dorm and the bunks were great. The sound proofing was alright in the rooms, but in the halls, bathrooms and the communal space the sound from the parties downstairs was loud. We really missed a kitchen space to prepare our own food. Generally we don't eat from a microwave and there were very few plates, bowls and cutlery, when we wanted to prepare our raw food and breakfast. Being locked out of the communal space for your staff meeting was not cool either. And watching the lady clean the space with the blanket provided for comfort really put me off.

I really enjoyed the stay, the room and the bed were great, the showers and toilet zones were pretty clean. The breakfast was good however I would add some white yoghurt in the menu.
