The staff were very helpful and friendly, making sure I had everything I needed. However, the rooms are very hot and the windows do not open. There is an air conditioning vent, but it is very old and does not blow enough air or go to a low temperature, even with the thermostat turned all the way down. This made it difficult to sleep as the building gets very warm, even at night.

Very disappointing experience. We specifically chose the more expensive “pay at hotel in cash” option to avoid any charges before arrival. Despite this, the hotel blocked 386.15 EUR on our card before check-in without proper warning or consent. The money is still unavailable according to our bank. Paying more for flexibility and then having your funds frozen is unacceptable. Extremely stressful experience during our trip.

We are sincerely sorry for the misunderstanding and inconvenience caused by the pre-authorization made prior to your arrival. Your dissatisfaction, as well as the stress caused by this situation, is completely understandable. However, this pre-authorization is part of a standard guarantee procedure applied to all reservations, including those where payment is planned in cash at the hotel. This is not a charge, but a temporary hold placed by the bank in order to guarantee the reservation. The release of the funds then depends on each bank’s processing times. Some banks, especially during public holidays or weekends, may take several days before making the amount available again on the card. In certain cases, this delay may exceptionally take up to a week. On the other hand, some banks process these operations immediately after the guests’ departure. It is regrettable that this situation affected your experience, and your comment regarding the lack of clarity of this information has been carefully noted. Particular attention will be given to improving communication on this matter in order to avoid any confusion in the future. We had a terrible experience at this Ibis hotel. The room was extremely hot and there was no AC. For one full day, there was no hot water at all. It’s not worth the price you pay. The bathroom structure also looked unstable, as if it could fall apart.

Regarding the hot water disruption, this was caused by an unexpected technical issue following a major water leak in the corridor on the 15th floor. In order to ensure safety and carry out the necessary repairs on the affected pipework, we had to temporarily shut off the water supply throughout the hotel. We fully understand the impact this may have had on your comfort. As for the temperature in your room, the hotel is equipped with a centralized ventilation system. However, had you informed our reception team during your stay, we would have been happy to provide a portable fan to improve your comfort. We also take note of your comments regarding the condition of the bathroom. We fully understand your concern. Please note that the 14th floor will remain in its current condition until the end of the year, as it is scheduled for renovation. We sincerely regret that your stay did not meet your expectations and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more pleasant experience in the future.
