We understand your frustration regarding the rooftop. Our rooftop is open to hotel guests from Tuesday to Saturday, from 5pm to 10pm. We appreciate that a 10pm closing time on a Friday or Saturday may feel a little early. However, due to the holiday period in Paris in August, we exceptionally close the bar earlier during this time.Your comment is noted and will be shared with our team. When it comes to the rooms, Mama is definitely a little different by design 😎 — we don’t provide the traditional welcome tray, kettle or coffee machine, as we aim for a more minimalist and relaxed approach. That said, we completely understand that having easily accessible power sockets is important, and we appreciate your very specific feedback about their location. Regarding the €150 pre-authorisation, this is a security guarantee requested by the hotel during the stay and is not linked to having a minibar in the room. Once the stay is completed and there are no additional charges, the amount is released according to the bank’s processing times. We really appreciate you being honest with us — even when the feedback is not all sunshine and cocktails 😉. It helps us see where we can do better while staying true to the Mama spirit.
