Hotel was good.. breakfast / bar area very good, rooms less so.Most annoying thing is that ~2 weeks after checking out the guarantee, over 1000E, still appears in my credit card (of course stay has been paid in full). How long before you release the money?

Everything from the hotel was spot on! Service, smile, hospitality! As per usual! There was only one downfall and that was the restaurant. Food was wrong, cold and took ages… quality of the meat was not up to par. Service was bellow average. For examole asked for ketchup 4 times never showed up. The tables around us were talking about the same thing. No structure no service and no one in sight to ask anything.

We reserved 2 nights at Mama Shelter Est. Before leaving the room at noon time for sightseeing, we hung the sign Please Clean. In the late evening, we returned and the room is still not made. We had to talked to the staffs there several times just to get the room cleaned and supplied with new bath towels. Had to walk outside and waited for another hour and half for the room to be ready. It is not the first time I booked a trip with Mama Shelter, but this trip was way below average. Will not book again.

I usually stay at Mama Paris East when I travel to my house in the Luberon twice a year. I book a single when I'm by myself. I ended uo with a room on the 7th floor which required me to carry my large suitcase up a flight of stairs—I'm 70 years old. The wifi barely worked in the room. I just feel like Mama Shelter has lost some of its personality and warmth in the recent years I've been staying here. Pizza restaurant is gone—table by the elevator is gone...
