Not Good Stay

There was Issue with rest room. Water is continuously flowing. It was fixed on immediately but again it started flowing when we start to use It. Also, when we go on bed than realise there is blanket. So called reception and the ask me to come down and collect. Overall it was not good experience.

Your staff was quite helpful, letting us have a `vase' for some flowers we had and helping whenever they could. Room was quite comfortable, with a refrigerator, microwave and expresso machine. Grocery and bakery a little more than block away so we could easily get food for breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay, but there are two points which I believe you should take into account. First, the bathroom in my room was smelly all the time. I imagine that this is due to a leak somewhere behind the wall. Since the smell was so bad, I would strongly suggest to take a look at this problem which may also be present in other rooms as well. Second, and more importantly, please do something to reduce the plastic waste produced at the hotel. It was very annoying to me that almost all the coffee cups where made of disposable materials. I seriously hope that you offer reusable cups, also in the rooms. And please make an effort recycling at most as you can.

Need to Make Serious Changes & Nasty Check-Out Surprise Fees

This was a very disappointing stay. While the Hotel is okay, and the room is nice, there were quite a few areas that went terribly wrong. For starters on Sunday afternoon the hot water broke, and they couldn't get a repairman in until Monday morning. This has happened before on other trips I've taken to Europe, but not at a "4-Star" hotel. Pretty much every day I had to venture down to the check-in staff because something wasn't working properly or something was forgotten. For four of the six days I stayed here, the cleaning staff took care of the towels we used, but then didn't replace them. They also kindly replaced the waste bin, but they left the full trash bag on the desk, for three days. One of the towels we got had permanent stains on it. The hairdryer in the room only worked for about 2 minutes, with periodic stops every 20 seconds, because it would overheat and couldn't be used until it cooled down. The hand soap in the bathroom where the toilet is located ran out the first day, and was never replaced. That smaller bathroom also featured an unpleasant smell that would suggest the cleaning staff never went in there, or did their job. But by far in a way the most unpleasant surprise was at check-out. When I began our stay the check-in staff told me breakfast was available and that it was at no cost. Since breakfast consisted of a coffee machine, orange juice, a few types or cheese and some croissants, it was a nice quick offering before leaving to explore Paris. At check-out the staff I returned the room card to, asked me if I enjoyed my visit to Paris, and my stay at the Novotel Suites. Since a lot of the issues with the room were minor annoyances I didn't feel the need to bring them up, and said our stay in Paris was nice and the hotel was okay. He then asked me if I enjoyed the breakfast at the Hotel. Being, polite, I said it was nice and that the espresso machine was quite good. He then asked me how many days we grabbed breakfast, which I replied 3 days, including that day we were checking out. He then handed me a bill for €120 saying that breakfast was €15 per person, per day. There were NO SIGNS near the breakfast that indicated a cost, no staff mentioned a cost, and there was a selection of items you could buy next to the "free" breakfast. Not only was I extremely displeased with this surprise at check-out. What irritates me the most, is that he then charged me €30 more than the he should have (15*6=90 not 120) and he saw me not eat anything before leaving for the airport. That was single handedly the most low-down dirty trick I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. It would be one thing if he asked us how many days we had breakfast, but the way he phrased it, as a question of satisfaction is what angered me the most. He over charged me, and ended my Paris vacation on quite a sour note. I never want to stay at any Novotel product ever again. Your management, staff and customer service is completely unacceptable, and the room experience was barely on par with a 2-star hotel or a motel.

I have stayed here at least 3 times before this and the hotel is always clean and friendly. It is usually it is nice and quiet but this time I was continually woken up by other guests banging about and having loud conversations outside my room in the small hours. Not the hotels fault by any means but annoying none the less as it meant 3 nights of interrupted sleep. I will remember to ask for a room at the end of the corridor next time!

We were very disappointed, wrong information provided, very unhinged and smelly rooms. Not cleaned at all. Receptions staff was very rude, no even try to make guest comfortable in any situation. We traveled from New Zealand to Paris and booked for 5 night but due to unfriendly staff and uncomfortable smelly, unhinged rooms we left just in 2 days and shifted in New booked Best Western Premium hotel in central Paris. Totally intolerable. No refund or compensation from the hotel staff. Never ever recommend this.

Check-in problems, comfortable stay

We booked our rooms directly through the hotel website but encountered check-in problems. The front desk staff informed us that one room was only booked for a night, although our booking confirmation showed us booking 2 rooms for 3 nights. When this was sorted out, we were given the cards to our rooms. However, when we went into one of the rooms, the room wasn't obviously cleaned - bed and sheets were all over, coffee cups not disposed, etc. This was almost 11pm. We went back to front desk and was told that their system showed the room as CLEAN, which obviously wasn't. We were given a new room afterwards. We also had some problems with billing though this got resolved upon checking out. We had a comfortable stay overall, however, the hotel will need to look into their IT systems to ensure a pleasant check-in experience for its guests. Just to highlight that I am a Silver card member but was NOT given any welcome drink upon check-in.

We were unfortunately to visit Paris during the strike of public transportation. Luckily, this hotel is not far from Porte De Vincennes station for reaching Line 1, which keeps running all the time. It is good value with plenty of space in the room. We also have a Nespresso machine and capsules to make excellent coffee and chocolate.

The place was good and clean. The people were nice except one lady at the front desk. She was rude. The metro station was very far from the hotel. The price was a bit high for this hotel. I think 50-60 euro/night is fair for this hotel

Short walk from metro station, Shopping center with large grocery store so you can stock up on groceries since the room has a microwave, kettle and mini fridge. The layout of the hotel room is very comfortable. Staff was hit or miss - some were VERY helpful and knowledgeable, others less so.

Was excellent but be careful, customers service is decreasing.

Poor breakfast and not enought tables for all the people at breakfast time. If something from the food ended we were waiting for a long time to bring more. Cleaner came into our room to clean it the time that we came from breakfast and we were in the room and she wanted to clean it that time. Also the day of check out, she came in the room to clean it at 9 o clock.

Hello, We are aware that in case of high attendance at breakfast, it may miss some places. That's why we are expanding the breakfast room, creating a beautiful veranda. Regarding the cleaning of the rooms, the maids start at 9am. If you do not want early cleaning service, mention this by putting the "do not disturb" sign in front of your door. Regards,
