I recently stayed at the Fairmont Hanoi and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is excellent—just about a 5-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, making it very convenient for exploring Hanoi.
The reception area is beautiful and creates a great first impression. The food and service at Bacco were very good, and I also really enjoyed YY Bar, where both the drinks and service were excellent. The food and service at Tran Dynasty, however, were truly amazing. A special thank-you to Chloe, whose exceptional service made our experience there even more memorable. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful evening.
I also really enjoyed the live entertainment by Bella Forte at the bar. It added such a fun and enjoyable atmosphere to the evening and was definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
What stood out most throughout my entire visit was the customer service. 1000/10! Everyone I encountered was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
The hotel may be a little pricey, but in my opinion, it is more than worth it for the location, beautiful surroundings, excellent dining, entertainment, and especially the outstanding service.
If I return to Hanoi, I would definitely stay at the Fairmont Hanoi again. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end, and I highly recommend it!

Everything was perfect. The service, cleanliness, staff, location, amenities were all great. I looked forward to turndown service each night! The room and spa was immaculate. I loved the touches that really brought a true luxury experience - speakers in the bathroom, robes that were actually fluffy, the automatic toilet. We had just arrived from having to cut a stay short with another new “5 star” hotel and it was the best decision we made. Please send all gratitude to the wonderful staff who were so kind and warm to our very big family of 8! The concierge and door staff were exceptional and dealt with our many Grab taxis and orders with no hesitation! Truly warm service which rivalled that of Rosewood hotels. I will be looking forward to returning to Hanoi, particularly to be able to stay again at the Fairmont Hanoi.

As a platinum member. I have found that stays in the Fairmont hotels to be disappointing. We are not valuable enough for the Fairmont hotels only if you become a Diamond member but even as a Diamond member I feel I would be disappointed.
