The soft opening of Fairmont Hanoi was truly exceptional — refined, thoughtful, and executed with remarkable elegance. Audrey, Ms Kim and Giang kindly waited until late evening to welcome me as the very first guest. The lounge deserves special recognition. The heartists — Tien, Linh Le, Linh Vu, Khanh, Hang and Nga — delivered service that was attentive without ever being intrusive. Their warmth and professionalism created an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and sincerely welcoming. Equally impressive is the gym, which is equipped with state-of-the-art machines, including a premium InBody system. It offers a complete and modern fitness experience that exceeds expectations. The bathhouse is simply the best in Vietnam — an absolute highlight that should not be missed during any stay. It provides a serene and beautifully designed sanctuary for relaxation and restoration. Throughout my visit, I was warmly greeted by many team members, including Bảo (Bell), Thắng (Gym), and Linh (Restaurant). I only wish I could remember more names, as the level of professionalism across the team was outstanding. I hope Fairmont Hanoi sets a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in the city.

We were one of the first guests to stay at this hotel. The hotel and facilities were STUNNING. From the rooms, to the gym, and the unbelievable spa, everything was immaculate. As it was the soft opening, the rooftop pool was not yet open but I imagine it will be an incredible addition. We had breakfast a couple of times in the restaurant which was delicious, but opted moreso to explore the many local food stalls and restaurants in the area when we could. The hotel is located in the French Quarter and most of the sites we wanted to see were within walking distance. The best part of the hotel was the staff who were always were so genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming. We were celebrating our first anniversary and they even provided a little welcoming cake in our room which was such a sweet touch. Vietnam is such a beautiful country and we look forward to coming back in the future - would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Although I understood that the hotel is still establishing itself, there were certain aspects of the facilities and service that fell slightly short of expectations. I am confident that these will improve as the team gains more experience over time. Nevertheless, it is still a hotel I would very much like to return to and stay at again on my next visit to Hanoi.
