Your hotel was outstanding in every way. The interiors were absolutely sublime. The attention to detail in the rooms, bars, restaurants and above all the wellness and fitness areas was next level. Staff were so friendly and it is lovely to see there is still room for personality.

​We just finished a two-night stay at the Fairmont Hanoi, and I’m honestly still impressed. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and this is without a doubt the nicest, best-designed hotel I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. Everything about the place just works. ​Usually, when you stay at a hotel that has only recently opened, you expect a few hiccups or some "growing pains" while the team finds their rhythm. Not here. The entire operation feels incredibly smooth, seamless, and well-organized. ​The room—we stayed in a Fairmont King—was a highlight in itself. It is so rare to find a space that is both stunningly beautiful and genuinely functional, but the designers clearly understood the needs of a traveler. Everything is exactly where you want it to be, and the layout feels intuitive rather than cluttered. ​But what really sets this place apart is the team. The staff is, quite simply, the best. From the moment we checked in, we felt taken care of. A staff member personally guided us to our room to walk us through how everything functioned, which was such a professional and welcoming touch. Every person we encountered during our two days was warm, attentive, and clearly proud to be part of the hotel. It’s rare to see that level of genuine coordination and hospitality so early on. ​The amenities are equally top-tier. Breakfast was fantastic—there’s a great mix of a buffet and a la carte options, and I have to give a special shout-out to the pho, which I ended up having every single day. I also really appreciated that they had high-quality decaf coffee available, which is a small but very welcome detail. We also got a tour of the spa, and it is an absolute sanctuary; it’s one of those places that has every facility you could possibly dream of. ​I’ll admit, I was originally a little disappointed to find that the Japanese and Vietnamese restaurants hadn’t opened yet, but the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Bacco, was so exceptional that it barely mattered. ​Overall, the experience was so positive that we’re already so happy we have another two-night stay booked for next week. It’s not often you find a hotel you’re excited to return to before you’ve even left, but the Fairmont Hanoi has absolutely earned it.

I’ll start off by saying that the staff here are amazing and incredibly attentive! We knew that we would be staying at the hotel shortly after it opened, however no where in our booking was it mentioned that half of the hotel was still being built and some of the amenities were not ready for use. We wanted to book a spa experience but the spa wasn’t open, only the bathhouse. We wanted to have a drink at the roof top but the bar by the pool wasn’t open on the roof yet. I’m sure there are more amenities being built on the other side of the hotel that have not been finished yet as well. We know this will change overtime, and as the hotel continues to get built it will look like a signature Fairmont.

I recently stayed at Fairmont Hanoi and had a truly enjoyable experience overall, especially considering the hotel is newly opened. From the moment we arrived, the team made a strong first impression. As we were celebrating a special occasion, the hotel acknowledged it in a thoughtful way, which added a meaningful touch to the stay. The welcome amenities were well prepared, and the room introduction was clear and helpful. The hardware of the hotel is a clear strength. As a new property, everything feels fresh and well-maintained. The in-room technology is intuitive and seamlessly integrated; the overall digital experience is polished (the addition of smart voice control in the future would make it even more forward-looking). Housekeeping and turndown service were consistent and attentive throughout our stay. Importantly, we did not experience the usual “new hotel” odor in our room. One small detail was that I didn’t find the pillow menu; it would be helpful to include one in the bedside literature. Dining was another highlight. Breakfast is mainly à la carte and offers good variety and quality. There was a small issue during one breakfast service, but it was handled quickly and professionally, which left a positive impression. The BACCO restaurant stood out in particular — authentic Italian flavors, confident technique, and refined presentation. The risotto with freshly shaved black truffle was memorable. The Fairmont Gold Lounge provides a comfortable space, and the staff there are warm and attentive. While the afternoon tea and evening cocktails are nicely presented, I would love to see more variety in the tea sets across multiple days, and perhaps a few more "substantial" options during the evening cocktail hour. On a couple of occasions, certain fresh juices such as fresh coconut and watermelon juice were unavailable, which could perhaps be improved with better stock planning. The wellness facilities are, in my opinion, some of the best in the city. The gym is well-equipped, the swimming pool is beautifully designed with a fun Jacuzzi area, and the bathhouse is remarkably spacious and functional, far exceeding what is typically offered in this luxury category. Overall, the hotel delivers a refined and well-balanced luxury experience. Its combined strength in hardware, dining, and service allows it to stand confidently alongside established luxury properties in Hanoi, such as Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi and Capella Hanoi. I would gladly return for another staycation in the future.

I had the pleasure of staying at Fairmont Hanoi got 3 nights during their soft opening and could not have enjoyed it more. The room and hotel was so comfortable and beautiful, and the location was perfect. An afternoon in the bath house was perfect after the long flight from Canada. The concierge team was full of wonderful recommendations every time I went past their desk, and would always remember what I had been doing the days before. The bartenders in YY Bar(I'm sorry I forget their names!) had great cocktail suggestions, were full of knowledge on local spirits, and hand wrote an itinerary of suggestions for a day exploring Truc Bach lake area. The Fairmont Gold team were so welcoming and kind, and ensured that I had every need exceeded and had suggestions for things I didn't even know I wanted(big shout-out to Mei!). I can't imagine my stay being more perfect and can't wait to return one day.
