I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sofitel Metropole for three nights with a close friend, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism (Thanks Bách and Lily!) that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Club benefits were included during our visit, and it truly enhanced the experience. The exclusive access, comfort, and personalized attention (Thanks Giang, Tommi, Ann and others!) made our stay feel complete. The rooms were wonderful, and perfectly maintained, reflecting the hotel's commitment to luxury and attention to detail. Any issue that occured was solved immediately. During our stay, I had the chance to enjoy both the pool and the gym. The pool was heated and well-maintained, providing a relaxing escape after a busy day exploring the city. The gym was equipped with modern machines and was clean, allowing me to maintain my fitness routine. We further visited Angelina (Bar) in the evening to relax and were well taken care off by Oanh, Ginny and Nhàn. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the incredible staff. Every interaction with the team was marked by genuine care, professionalism, and attentiveness. I came down with a nasty cough during my stay, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and ensure my comfort. In particular, Stella from the Butler team deserves special recognition. Stella was thoughtful, attentive, and consistently anticipated our needs, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Similarly, Van Anh, and Nhung, provided excellent service in the restaurant, well in line with Forbes standards, ensuring that every dining experience was both seamless and memorable. Their personal attention and dedication are examples of the standards of service at the Sofitel Metropole. Overall, the combination of luxurious facilities, attention to detail, and staff who genuinely care for their guests makes the Sofitel Metropole an outstanding choice for anyone visiting the city. I left with memories of not only beautiful surroundings and comfort but also of remarkable hospitality that went above and beyond, even under less-than-ideal health circumstances. I am grateful to the team for their dedication, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Loved our stay at the Sofitel Metropole. The room was well appointed and service was wonderful across all avenues. We arrived super early after an overnight train with high hopes of checking in early. Although we weren’t able to check in upon arrival, they made every effort to get us in much earlier than expected which we very much appreciated. From check in to check out, the personalized service was perfect. The historical tour of the bomb bunker should not be missed. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Vietnam.
