We really enjoyed our stay at Mercure Hanoi La Gare. The staff were excellent—friendly, supportive, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with comfy beds ensuring a good night’s rest. Breakfast was good and well organized. The location is very convenient, particularly for travelers, as the hotel is very close to the train station. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at Mercure Hanoi La Gare recently and overall, it was a decent stay; but for the price, I feel there are better options nearby. The highlight of our experience was definitely the doormen. They were very welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with our bags, which made a great first impression every time we entered or left the hotel. That said, the rest of the experience felt fairly standard. I had mentioned in advance that both my partner and I were celebrating our April birthdays (his was on the 6th, and we checked in on the 7th), but there was no acknowledgment or small gesture during our stay. While not expected, it’s something other hotels at a similar price point usually take note of, so it was a bit disappointing. Overall, the hotel is comfortable and well-located, but it didn’t quite stand out in terms of value or experience. I would consider exploring other options in the area next time.
