Checked in as a family of 7, booked their privilege room and classic superior room, using my Stay Plus for one night. They are conveniently located steps away from Ga Hanoi (the main train station) and just a short Grab ride away from the Old Quarter and a couple of Vincom Centers.

I recently stayed at Mercure Hanoi la Gare. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a cozy atmosphere and great service. However, the facilities are showing their age and feel a bit outdated. If the hotel invests in renovating the rooms and amenities, the guest experience would be much better.
