I was not treated as a platinum member just because my agent didn’t book directly. Understand there is so rules however just a free breakfast for 1 pax doesn’t cost much . Hotel is unhelpful to help and keep insist they can’t give me my benefits. I understand no upgrade or welcome food or drink. I just ask for free breakfast but was rejected and keep referring to All member . I believe hotel itself cannot do something flexible. First time hotel don’t treat member well

Hanoi is famously noisy, but the Mercure Hanoi la Gare has quadruple glazed windows, and the rooms are completely silent. If a good night’s sleep matters to you, you’ll get it here. The beds were so nice too! The customer service provided by every member of the staff was outstanding, but I have to mention Thank on the front desk in particular. She was so warm, gracious and welcoming! I’ve worked in customer service for decades and trained many, many people, but occasionally you run across someone who comes to it naturally. Thank is one of those people. The Mercure is lucky to have her.

I enjoyed my stay at this nice hotel, great rooms! I really appreciated the efforts made by the hotel to block the street noise (double glazing and an extra glass panel outside the window), I literally couldn't hear anything at all even though I was just on the 3rd floor right next to a busy street.

As it was just a overnight stay, it's hard to rate the hotel probably. We were travelling with a group that were checking in at different times. Front Desk staff was efficient ! Informed us no need to pay a deposit and please simply pay for F&B as we go along. That worked for all.
