The facade of the hotel is very ordinary. I was a little wary when our car pulled into the very tight space of the small drive way. At the front desk, the staff was all smiles and I got upgraded because of my Accor status and a welcome drink was promptly served. I felt better and a little more assured. The room was very comfortable and quite sizeable. When we asked for restaurant recommendations, we were pointed to one of the most popular venues and the food was phenomenal but reasonably priced. We patronised the same restaurant after we returned from a visit to Sapa and stayed at the Mercure La Gare again. We had a very early flight from Hanoi to Danang and asked the hotel to arrange a taxi for 0515 departure. Worried it might take a while for that to be arranged if the day staff did not leave a message for the overnight staff, we went down just after 0500 and found the taxi already waiting in the drive way. Thanks to the excellent team work between the staff manning the front desk, they communicated and we arrived bright and early for our flight.

Well located clean rooms but breakfast options are limited for vegetarians , please include indian vegetarian options as well
