The hotel is not new, but well maintained, with good facilities and amenities. The room itself is large with comfortable bed. I was upgraded to 2-bedroom apartment, so the room is large for myself, complete with Kitchenette, living area, 2 bathrooms, and even washing machine with free detergent. This is a very nice touch for long-stay guest. Breakfast is just OK, and can be crowded. Location is good, near convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, etc.

Thu is like family. She has made my stay, since August 9, 2024 relaxing, comfortable and fun. I am in Hanoi for work and when I get done working, I look forward to going home to the Novotel because Thu helps make sure I have everything I need. I would not want to stay anywhere else!

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. However, I felt uncomfortable during my final checkout and also while having breakfast. 1. During breakfast, I was told that the payment had not been processed, which made the dining experience unpleasant. (If It's unclear, I didn't want to have breakfast but they said It's cleared and I can have the breakfast. Not recommend this kind of communication) 2. At checkout, the process was not handled smoothly. I had already had breakfast, yet I was informed afterward that the payment had not been settled, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. (To avoid this kind of situation, I had always settle down all the room charges the day before my checkout date) Because of these issues, I was left with an overall negative impression at the end of my stay, despite the positive experience throughout the rest of my visit.
