The TRIBE Lyon Croix Rousse hotel is extremely clean, quiet, and professionally managed. The location is slightly out of the way, in a neighborhood at the top of a steep hill, but only 1/3 mile from the main shopping and dining street in the district. Buses are nearby and the Metro is about a mile away. The rooms are well appointed, with plenty of sunlight (the lighting after dark is a bit low). The bathrooms are great. The breakfast isn't cheap... but it is a beautiful spread and you can eat enough to skip lunch. In summary, I would warmly recommend this hotel to anyone who loves walking a lot when they discover a city.
