The Carlton Lyon is well located and the hotel's rooms are well appointed. The front desk staff is efficient and very helpful with planning. However, the meals which we ordered in the bar were served cold (at refrigerator temperature). When questioned the bartender/server advised that this was standard. Whether true or not, avoid ordering food in the bar.

Cannot beat the location of Hotel Carlton. I also appreciate the proactive staff in helping our luggage in our room and even offering us water when we pass by them in the hallways. The room was spacious and clean

The decor is absolutely beautiful! The hotel is in a wonderful location and easily walkable to so many great sites, restaurants and shopping. The comfort level and warmth and kindness of the staff were completely wonderful and excellent! I would love to thank them personally and probably will have that opportunity because this is my hotel of choice next trip to Lyon.
