We were considering three hotels for our stay in Lyon and were able to quickly eliminate one due to its location. That left us with two excellent options, one of which was the Carlton Hotel. To help us decide, we reached out to both properties. Jessica, who responded on behalf of the Carlton Hotel, was absolutely lovely and incredibly responsive. She made our decision very easy. Not only did she answer all of our questions promptly—even when she was at home and off duty—but she also assisted us with booking our rooms when we encountered issues on the website while trying to reserve two rooms. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the opportunity to meet her during our stay, as she was on holiday. However, all of the staff members we encountered were equally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Both of our rooms were clean and comfortable, and one in particular was especially charming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing, making it an excellent base for exploring Lyon. We would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend the Carlton Hotel to others.

We spent two nights here this weekend and the experience was nothing but fantastic! The staff and service were brilliant, and the room was really nice too. Would highly recommend their breakfast and the bartenders (specialy the very nice lady) makes some of the best cocktails I have ever had! I certainly would come back when we are back in Lyon again!
