I stayed here in January and had a spacious room, but this time, traveling with a friend, the room was noticeably smaller. On the day of my arrival, as a Gold member, I requested a different room, but there was no availability. At reception, I was informed that an email had been sent asking if I preferred a double room, and since I replied requesting twin beds, the upgrade could not be applied. Additionally, I assumed slippers would be provided, so I didn’t bring any. I was surprised to learn that slippers are only offered with room upgrades, especially since the hotel had the option to upgrade me but still didn’t provide them. This felt inconsistent with the level of service I expected.
