In defence, it is listed as IBIS BUDGET, so the price is reasonable, however the experience is very cheap too, with minimal service, small and poorly equipped rooms, and everything very very basic.

We booked this hotel as a stop over on a drive down to the south of France. What a mistake this was. The car park wasn’t secure or lit. There are large lips on the ramps within the car park so may car scraped on everyone. When we did finally manage to park, the ‘signposted’ way to the hotel is up 3 flights of stairs in the pitch black. Watch out for the uneven floors that every member of your party will fall over on the way up. When we finally found our way to the reception to check in. We were advised not to leave any valuables in the car as the car park door won’t shut and they don’t know who will be in the car park. Just what you want to hear when there is no lighting down there (even during the day). The rooms were clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. The AC must have been on strike and the window restrictors were broken, which is not ideal when travelling with kids. When considering would I book this hotel again, it would be a no. In fact we had an Ibis hotel booked for the journey back in a few weeks. But that has been cancelled and I have found somewhere else.

Si bien la estancia fue utilizada sólo para dormir , hubo detalles que no pasó desapercibido. La última noche llovió y el dormitorio, sin tener ventanas ni puerta abierta se llenó de pequeños insectos. Hizo falta un frigobar para mantener agua helada. El Internet era intermitente. El desayuno estuvo bien y las dependencias, si bien eran pequeñas estaba bien solo para dormir.

Chambre propre,personnel sympathique.les oreillers sont petits et plats ,le secteur est très bruyant.mauvaise surprise en arrivant,parking sous terrain payant en supplément et un vrai coupe gorge,pas d éclairage au niveau des emplacements réservés a l ibis budget,des détritus un peu partout,on dirait que le lieu est squatté.lrs places de l ibis sont au très loin ds les sous sol nous avons du ns éclairer avec nos téléphones.les escaliers qui mènent aux chambres sont sales,papier par terre et trace d urine sur le mur.petit déjeuner basique.je n y reviendrait pas.fidele cliente ibis mais la, vraiment déçue

Abbiamo soggiornato solo 1 notte e direi menomale! Camera piccolissima, zona lontana dal centro e per di più pericolosa! La mattina la vista fuori dalla ns finestra era un gruppo di ragazzi che facevano uso di droga. Ma la cosa più sconvolgente è stata che nella ns camera tripla mancava 1 cuscino, che anche se richiesto più di una volta non hanno fornito, con la motivazione che non ne avevano. Decidete voi se soggiornare in questo hotel oppure no!

This hotel is what it is, a 2* at a reasonable price. I have stayed there many times. When I arrived a couple of weeks ago, I was allocated a room that had no running hot water either from the tap or the shower. This was apparently a known issue following the refurbishment last year. Denis on the desk was extremely helpful and moved me into a nearby room that he had verified had hot water - thank you Denis. He had to ring someone "higher up" (in Paris I believe) and I got the impression that the person on the other end wasn't particularly interested (although I was not privy to the phone call of course). This suggests that local staff are more interested than more distant management. I think the refurbishment has improved the hotel - at least there were no cockroaches this time (which there were in 2019). I will continue to use this hotel because it serves its purpose when I am in Lyon.

The lady staff at the counter was rude, I had booked for a three bedroom room and was provided two separate rooms, The lady at the counter was like take it or leave it, no empathy at all. The lift was covered with all cloth like a butchery. The rooms looked unsafe.
