The hotel is located in the center of Lyon, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. However, there are a few issues in the room that could be improved, such as very slow shower drainage and only one power outlet by the bedside. Overall, this is a typical European hotel—small room with some plumbing issues.

The room was very comfortable with a great view. Having a tub AND a shower was a treat. Refrigerator in the room was a plus. We asked for soft pillows and this hotel delivered. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. Things could not have been better.

It was lovely to be able walk almost everywhere in city centre. Room was clean and silent. Toilet was quite small but the rest of our experience was great. We will definitely consider staying in Mercure again.
