The hotel is located in the center of Lyon, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. However, there are a few issues in the room that could be improved, such as very slow shower drainage and only one power outlet by the bedside. Overall, this is a typical European hotel—small room with some plumbing issues.

It was lovely to be able walk almost everywhere in city centre. Room was clean and silent. Toilet was quite small but the rest of our experience was great. We will definitely consider staying in Mercure again.

Nous sommes heureux de constater que notre emplacement a su pleinement répondre à vos attentes. Nous sommes néanmoins désolés pour la gêne rencontrée lors du petit-déjeuner du samedi matin. Cet incident, dû à un oubli indépendant de notre volonté, ne reflète en rien la qualité de service que nous nous engageons à offrir à nos clients. Concernant la chambre qui vous a été attribuée, nous comprenons parfaitement votre ressenti quant à la proximité avec la salle de petit-déjeuner. Nous tenons à préciser que cette chambre appartient à notre catégorie Classique, différente de la Chambre Privilège que vous n’aviez pas réservée. Les prestations et le niveau de confort y sont donc naturellement différents de nos chambres supérieures. From check in through to check out, the staff was excellent. Breakfast at the hotel was a good start. There were so many restaurants in the neighbourhood from which to choose, it was a great problem to have.
