Our second time visiting Lyon, we stayed here again. You can walk to almost all the places we wanted to visit, from vieux Lyon to Les Halles Paul Bocuse, and there are public transport stops and a taxi rank nearby. Close to a multitude of restaurants, a decent cafe bar, and the main shopping area. The room is comfortable, bathroom has good sized walk-in shower. It's an old style place that has what you need - just don't expect glitz and a large lobby and bar. The staff are very helpful (providing information, booking taxi, taking our luggage in the morning and delivering it to our room).

Spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed it. The best bits were: nice quiet room, air con, reliable and consistent room service breakfast, lovely staff, rooms serviced well and clean.

The location is excellent and the staff are professional and helpful. The standard room is small and it did not have a desk and chair, which is why I rated it 8. It was very uncomfortable to sit on the bed to do some work on my laptop and to eat.
