Great friendly staff, excellent location. One enhancement might be some art on the wall or artificial plants.

Well located everything else bad

Stayed at the Novotel Living in Singapore (Oct 10-16) & was very disappointed ….. Room was tiny & majority rooms in the hotel had 10/12 steep steps to climb to enter the room. (Not children/elderly/disabled/wheelchair friendly) The 1 coffee machine in the lobby was usually either empty or being cleaned or under maintenance. The ‘cookies’ were same every day for a week & tasted stale. Staff not friendly. Elevator frequency really bad. Only 2. Maids & food delivery people often hold the elevator for ages so U can easily wait 5/10+ mins…mornings worse. I understand that late checkouts are never automatic but was told that “room was required at 3:30pm & I had to checkout no/later than 11am”. Do they need 4 & 1/2 hrs to clean such a tiny room? Location was 5 star - everything else was 1 star so I think 2 star is generous. I’m a Worldwide traveler more than 50 years & lived here in Singapore for 5years & return annually so am very familiar with what is the norm - this is not it. Sad that Novotel standards are not upheld at this location.

Our Studio rooms are very similar in size. However, for your stay, which was associated with a university alumni event, our team arranged for you to stay in a unit with a higher ceiling and a working desk and chair. Maintaining our coffee machines at the clubhouse is a priority. However, there may be occasional instances when maintenance is needed. All our rooms are equipped with coffee machines for guests' use. We have communicated to our team the significance of consistently providing the highest level of service. We are actively addressing the issues you've brought up to prevent any recurrence in the future. Our family spent 4 weeks on this Novotel and we enjoy it every day. Reception staff are very friendly and very responsive to our request. We even got breakfast delivered to our door everyday. Hotel facilities are great. Since we had relocated to Singapore, a lot of our luggage and boxes arrived late during our stay and the security staff stored our belongings properly and then help us to move everything out when we left the hotel. They went the extra mile to help us during the stress of moving to our current place. Big thanks to the security team!

Stained Towel

The towel is stained by something black and brown i complained to the housekeeping but no action was taken.
