Lovely new hotel with everything you need. The rooms are small but not lacking anything. Well designed so shower and toilet separate, the whole design works well. The pool is lovely and longer than appears in the photos. The only comment is the pool bar does not open until 5,pm. The downstairs bar is great and the breakfast as well. The location is close to everything and directly opposite is a great selection of restaurants. The closest MRT is Somerset. Thanks also to the lovely staff.

We had an overall pleasant stay at Mama Shelter. The location is good and convenient, although the room itself was quite small. As an Accor Platinum member, it would have been nice to receive a higher-floor room or an upgrade as part of the Platinum benefits, but unfortunately, we were placed on the 2nd floor. On the positive side, we really enjoyed the happy hour. The staff working at the first-floor restaurant during breakfast, as well as the team at the happy hour area, were very nice, friendly, and welcoming. The food was also surprisingly good, and the portions were quite generous. We were also kindly granted a late check-out, although due to a change in our plans, we ended up not being able to use it. The main downside was the room condition and noise. Unfortunately, our room was quite dusty, and there was also considerable noise from the construction next door. I have allergies, and after the first night they became noticeably worse, and by the second night they were quite bad. This made the stay less comfortable than we had hoped. Overall, we appreciated the friendly service, good food, happy hour, and Platinum recognition through the late check-out. With better attention to room cleanliness and, where possible, room allocation away from the construction area, the experience could have been much better.
