We checked into our room. It had a strong smell of smoke like someone had been smoking in there. We left the AC on for 1.5 hours (no windows) to see if it helped but it didn’t. So we asked to change our room to a new one. They let us change quickly and easily. Both rooms were tiny. We didn’t have room for suitcases and both of us so it was tricky to move around the room without having to rearrange the suitcases to get the toilet. We definitely didn’t see photos with a good depiction of the size of the rooms. It’s a shame they don’t provide hand soap for the bathroom either.

I stayed here during Christmas and tariffs do not justify the facilities provided here. Rooms are very very small, you can barely move inside the room. There is no wardrobe but they have given 2 hangers to hang your clothes on wall. Bathrooms are very small. TV remote did not work during our entire stay. Its not easily visible from the road so, you are more likely to miss it in your first pass. There are many good things though, Reception staff is courteous and they helped us in the early check-in and car booking. Room is serviced every day but you need to tell them if bed covers to be changed. Very near to Little India MRT and Rochor MRT. Bus stop is right outside the Hotel.

With Singapore facing increasing land constraints, it is a common trait to see accommodation properties offering rooms including bathrooms that are small in size. This is also becoming an acceptable trend now, in consideration that many travellers spend their entire day out exploring the sights of Singapore and only return to the hotel at night to rest. Also as being part of Accor chain of hotels advocating sustainability of the environment, we do not change our linen daily for short stay guest unless requested. Cleanliness needs to improve. Floors need to be cleaned regularly. Had to leave a message with reception for 2 days to have the floors cleaned.

Bathroom has no bidet and shower had no curtain, when you turn on the shower, the shower head was all over and got the entire bathroom wet.

It was a quick one-night stay, a quick in and out. ibis budget Singapore Selegie was the perfect solution. A 5 minute walk from the nearest MRT station (Rocher is closest although a little hard to find with the construction going on), it's easy to find. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful. It's budget, so no frills. My room was clean, bright, and quiet. My bed was comfortable, the air conditioning unobtrusive. It even included a breakfast buffet with all the basics: baked beans, eggs, fruit, juice etc. I'd stay there again.
